Evolution from the ashes of extinction

Court Time

Everyone woke up early in the morning, got breakfast, put on their armors and left for the fort. Everyone was in formation except Victoria in which Pure activated active camouflage on her drone to keep her a secret. When they got to the courthouse, it was a huge crowd of reporters outside wanting answers to questions.

Pure: Helmets on everyone. Victoria, we will swing around the back and jump from there.

Victoria: Jump!?

Pure: Your Exo-suit.

Rick was with Victoria and both of them jumped out of their drone when it was low hover onto a window. A police officer was there and he opened the window for them. They went inside and shut the window behind them.

Police Officer: You really think she is going to bury that guy?

Rick: What she knows, absolutely.

Police Officer: Your courtroom is four doors down. The one on the left side of it is empty, that is where your team is meeting up.

Rick: Thanks.

Rick and Victoria headed to the courtroom and went inside. Meanwhile Pure, Alisha, Carolina, Jack, Marshal, Zhēnbǎo and Seth were with the witnesses and they were under full protection. Carolina had on the armor too so that if there was anybody trying to shoot her, they don't know which one it is. Everyone had their helmets on and made a formation using riot shields and drones to get inside. Once they cut through and got inside they headed for the courtroom where Rick and Victoria were waiting.

Pure: Everyone here? Good.

Everyone took off their helmets.

Carolina: Well that was exciting.

Pure: The trial is in fifteen minutes; I'll stay here with Victoria until we are needed. Horatio, Jack, Rick, Marshal, watch the inner and outer areas. Alisha, Zhēnbǎo, you guys will watch the witnesses and protect them. Seth you got overwatch. Keep this place locked down at all times, take a set of the drones with you for backup. Everybody know the plan?

Everyone: Yes.

Pure: Good now let's go.

Carolina took off her armor which had her lawyer clothes under it, she was normal and was ready for what lies ahead. The witnesses kept their armor on for safety reasons. Horatio, Jack, Rick and Marshal split up and took some drones with them to keep the place on lockdown. Zhēnbǎo and Alisha were the witnesses' escorts. Seth set up shop and was keeping an eye on everything with a satellite overhead.

Horatio: North locked down.

Marshal: South locked down.

Jack: West locked down.

Rick: East locked down.

Seth: I'm up and running over here.

Pure: Showtime.

Carolina and the witnesses went out of the courtroom and into the next one. The witnesses sat down and Alisha went high and perched in a corner. Zhēnbǎo had his shield on him and he put it down creating a kinetic field shielding the entire room. Once everything was ready, the judges came in.

Police Officer: All rise.

Everyone stood up.

Head Judge: Good morning, you may be seated.

Everyone sits down.

Head Judge: Bring in the accused.

Two police officers brought in Immanuel who was heavily restrained by chains and cuffs and was set in a chair being guarded by the two police officers.
