Personal Prison Visit

Two days later, everything was going ok at the fort and the plans for the hydrogen engine were going smoothly. Alisha wanted to head to the prison to visit Valatine after all those years. Pure said it was ok and was looking after Pure Jr. she headed off to the prison using her blackbird mode and got there easily. She touched down at the prison and went inside, the drones there recognized who she was and paid no attention to Alisha and went back to patrolling. Alisha left her sniper rifle, whip and storm breaker at the check-in but was allowed to keep her dimensional backpack. She was headed to the warden's office when she heard a familiar voice.

Voice: Is that the girl who has a death wish walking my halls!?

Alisha: Don't I outrank you now?

Voice: Well if little miss death blossom doesn't turn around I will Court Marshall you.

Alisha turns around.

Alisha: You always knew how to yank my chains Valatine.

Valatine: What can I say, it comes naturally.

Alisha walks up and shakes Valatine's hand.

Valatine: Welcome to the quad-max prison.

Alisha: Thanks, I heard you were running the place now so I thought I would check it out myself.

Valatine: You heard right, your troublemaker Jack stopped by the other day and we talked for a bit. He still paying up?

Alisha: Oh yeah, but another girl is holding onto his leash really tight.

Valatine: -laughs- Good, because I would teach that boy a thing or two myself.

Alisha: -laughs- I know you would.

Valatine: Walk with me?

Alisha: Sure.

Alisha and Valatine start walking down the hallway.

Valatine: I heard what happened with your Uncle Price, very tragic.

Alisha: Yeah, but I still have his tags.

Valatine sees the dog tags around Alisha's wrist.

Valatine: I also heard you became like this, how is it for you?

Alisha: Up and downs but still going strong, you taught me that.

Valatine: I did, when your Uncle Price was on mission he left you to me and you never gave up, heck you got the most times ever in the medical bay getting patched up and got right back in the fight.

Alisha: Yeah, I got the medal to prove it.

Valatine: And I also you managed to catch a dark chocolate.

Alisha: Pure is more than a dark chocolate, he was just like me, he was tortured and experimented on for 24 years. He escaped and is now fixing the world. He also made me like this after I was gravely injured and now we are getting married.

Valatine: Congrats Alisha.

Alisha: We also have a kid together.

Valatine: Boy or girl?

Alisha: It's a boy.

Valatine: Congratulations, got any photos of him?

Alisha hands Valatine a photo of Pure Jr.

Valatine: He is so handsome.

Alisha: He has his father's eyes.

Valatine hands back the photo to Alisha.

Alisha: So how has the military been treating you?

Valatine: They don't want me to leave, I trained the best and brightest and they won the war. So they put me down for a contract to keep serving and get some vacation days as well.
