Evolution from the ashes of extinction

Queen of them all.

Pure and the gang get back to the fort with the deactivated robot. They were still protected by the jammers so they wouldn't be followed. Pure and Lucinda got the robot inside while the rest of the gang touched down inside the fort and were glad of their first win. Mima helped them get it inside by having two giant claws to lift it out of the water and get it on solid ground.

Pure: Nice job everyone!

Alisha: That was close, what was that power you got?

Xiao: He seemed to hit the ground, sent out a shockwave and disable all of the machinery on the ground.

Horatio: Like a Magnetic Fist Punch.

Jack: That sounds about right.

Pure: Seth, what can we do about the robot now?

Seth: I can access it with the hole you blew in its armor.

Pure opened the hole in the armor again and plugged into a port from the inside.

Seth: ok here we go.

Seth got past its firewalls and into its main interface.  He turned off the auto function in its systems and gained control of the robot.

Seth: got it! Now what?

Pure: Can you give the controls to Mima I think she can use this robot at the fort.

Seth: Ok, here are the controls Mima they are a bit stiff at some controls.

Mima: thank you for the precaution Seth.

Seth: You're welcome.

Randal: trying to reel her in are we?

Seth: Randal, now is not the time to be bragging!

Pure: Let it go Randal, let him have this one.

andal: Fine but I'm keeping an eye on him, I got a feeling he got something up his sleeve.

Pure: If you say so. Mima did any more show up while we were gone?

Mima: it did next one was in the Amazon.

Pure: Which one?

Mima: African Amazon, I have also checked the reports around the location and it shows that people are disappearing into the forest without any evidence or any trace.

Pure: Randal know anything that can do this?

Randal: there is a couple but we will have to go there to figure out which one.

Pure: Seth?

Seth: there are some machines built for forest terrain but not kidnapping people.

Pure: ok, Alisha and I will go for this one; you guys stay here and wait on the next monster. Check your weapons and make sure your armor is good for the next run.

Horatio: Yeah because that was crazy.

Jack: But it was fun though.

Xiao: Mima can we have a checkup of our life support please?

Mima: Of course, this way.

Pure: the rest of you reload and let's go; Alisha and I will land in a nearby village and gather information.

Pure, Alisha, Rick and Marshal reload their weapons and supplies for themselves and the helicopter and went on their way. When they got to the African forest they found a nearby village almost deserted and a few people were outside.
