They headed down to find gold pieces of many types on the steps. Pure picks up a few coins to see what they were

Pure: Are these?

Seth: Checking database... Spanish doubloons, Egyptian gold, all of the gold of ancient history are down here.

Carolina: Along with some new ones, look gold bars, rolls of cash and even some priceless artifacts.

Randal: How is all of this down here?

Vincent: Look around the corner.

Carolina and Pure looked around to see giant machines making all of it. The souls were being crushed and buried in the gold to power the machines making every single bit of cash possible.

Pure: that is way too much gold to have for one lifetime.

Carolina: Not even I would know what to do with all of this.

Voice: I have a couple of ideas.

Pure: Please tell me...

Carolina: That is not!!

A man jumps down with his hands covered in gold and has gold armor.

Pure and Carolina: Aw come on, not this guy.

Seth: Who is it?

Pure: The most spoiled kid that was in our school before we parted ways.

Carolina: Nicholas.

Vincent: And you two got a grudge against him?

Pure: A big one.

Carolina: He thought he was going to own me by having that mush cash.

Pure: Thought he could intimidate me by having the latest tech but he thought he could just buy his way to the top but he was expelled from school. After that I don't know.

Nicholas: I was killed at home enjoying my riches by an assassin trying to make a ransom call but what they didn't know he already had a sniper bullet to my head and his finger was on the trigger. They didn't pay the ransom and I was shot a few seconds later. Next thing I know I'm down here paying for my greed. A few days ago you mother came to me offering my freedom and an endless supply of riches as long as I could defeat you.

Pure: Well that is not going to happen.

Carolina: Not by a long shot.

Pure and Carolina grabbed their weapons from Pure's bag. Pure gave his old time pistol with extra Megs and an ammo belt. Pure switched to his giant blade, put the shield on his back and set his pistol to pulse. Carolina got her electric whip; once she got the old time pistol it changed the design on it to match her taste, with roses and thorns on it.

Pure: Nice.

Carolina: Now let's rock.

Pure and Carolina readied themselves to fight. Nicholas reached inside a vat of solid gold and pulled out a giant spiked hammer made of gold.

Nicholas: Time to die.

Pure: Oh that line is so old, time for something new.

Nicholas charged forward and tried to hit Pure or Carolina but they dodged quickly. They took to the air trying to get an advantage on Nicholas but he spawned golden demon wings out and taking to the sky as well.

Pure: Ok, how exactly are we going to beat this guy he is practically covered in gold?

Seth: Why not just melt him down.

Vincent: good idea but you would have to get him in a vat first.

Pure: Carolina, can you get him distracted long enough for me to mega heat a vat of gold?

Carolina: I'll try.

Carolina starts whipping Nicholas.

Carolina: Hey forget about him, it's me who you are really after.

Nicholas: That and a whole lot more.

Nicholas started to chase Carolina giving a chance for Pure to get to a vat and start overheating the gold. Carolina and Nicholas were in a heavy fight for fifteen minutes until Nicholas tricked her and caught her in his arms. She dropped the whip down into a stack of gold.

Nicholas: Now I have you and I will make you mine.

Carolina: -struggles to get out-

Nicholas: It's no use I will make you love me no matter what.

Carolina: One thing you forgot about me.

Nicholas: And what is that?

Carolina: You are not my type.

Unknown to Nicholas she still had the pistol in her hand and she turned it towards him and shot him right in the nuts. (Come on you knew she was thinking it from since the start.)

Pure: It's ready!

Once the grip on Carolina loosened she hurled him straight into the vat and he was screaming in pain since it was mega heated.

Pure: It would seem fate is in our favor.

Carolina: And not in yours.

Pure and Carolina aimed their guns right at his head and pulled the triggers at the same time. The screaming stopped and he just went to the bottom of the cauldron.

Pure: Vincent, please tell me the way out of here right now!

Vincent: Chains are five miles eastbound.

Carolina: I'm going to need a refuel when we get to the next circle.

Vincent: You are going to have to make it a quick one. The circle of wrath is a hot place, so do not stick around for too long.

Carolina: A raging soul is just what I needed.

Pure: Go ahead in front of me and top up I'll do a weapons check.

Carolina flew ahead to refuel while Pure collected her whip and did a bullet check of her weapons so that she could get some more ammo. When that check was complete Pure headed towards the chains and headed down towards the next circle of hell, wrath.
