It was the third day being in the current and everything went well on the ship; Pure kept the engines running smooth, Alisha checked the computers and made sure everything was operational, Horatio was running the ship through its paces, Jack was healing from the brawl he had with Alisha (no new brawls happened, he is still healing from his current one). Marshal and Rick were in the mess hall getting lunch. Randal and Seth wanted to have a private conversation.

Pure: Ok guys I'll turn off my speaker to you guys, you earned it.

Randal: ok he's gone what do you want to talk about?

Seth: About this partnership with pure.

Randal: what about it?

Seth: it's taught us of how better we can be of ourselves and be like him.

Randal: Why would you want to be like him; you are a machine!

Seth: he's taught me no one is perfect even me. When I was in my world everything was perfect and I mean everything. Even though everything was like that, there was something missing in my systems.

Randal: What was missing?

Seth: to be something more than perfect, to be flawless at everything but that all changed when we got fused to his body permanently, I hated it at first but seeing the encryption he built trumped our own by at least ten years and then I realized from our fight that no one is perfect. Even for a machine there are flaws and I see now that flaws are necessary whether you are human or not.

Randal: so what are you going to do now?

Seth: Keep my end of the deal and see what this world holds that I can learn from them and be better than before.

Randal: what about pure?

Seth: he won the fight for his body and his life back, which is honorable; if we separate we will become friends and he will properly teach me how things work here and learn how to strive for it.

Randal: Really, this is what you asked pure to disable his speaker to hear your ranting...? Ugh, unbelievable.

Seth: Says the guy who is a pervert most of the time since we got here.

Randal: Hey!! That's my instinct talking those times.

Seth: I've been helping him way more than you ever have!!

Randal: It's because I was a lone wolf until this happened; going on my own, surviving, getting what I want and there was no way anyone would stop me, I was free.

Seth: Until pure tamed you when you got trapped here same as me.

Randal: what pure taught me is what really matters here?

Seth: Which is?

Randal: That rage won't solve anything and I had a lot of it.

Seth: How come?

Randal: This may be hard to believe, but I was the runt of my litter.

Seth: No....... you?

Randal: Yeah, they left me when I was big enough, they were going through a forest then they stopped to rest. While I was sleeping, they just left me there all alone, I even looked for their scents but they ran through water so I would lose them.

Seth: So what did you do?

Randal: I found a cave nearby and called it my home but I wasn't alone a spider-woman was in the cave and I knew I was dead but she didn't eat me, instead she took me in and raised me but after a couple years she died and I was angry about it I buried her in the cave and left her in peace. From then on I was on my own; the skills she taught me helped me survive and I always keep a piece of her with me.

Seth: What is it that you kept from her?

Randal: Before she died she gave me one of her fangs as a token and said to keep it close to my heart and she will always be with me no matter what, so I made it into a necklace and always keep it with me. From then on I never let anyone else in because they always betrayed me so I never trusted anyone, hunted for what I needed and built a home elsewhere and never had anyone who ever loved me like that, even though I wasn't of her blood she still cared for me and after that I wound up here.

Seth: You know trying like that won't get you anywhere even if we are separated from pure you won't get a girl like that.

Randal: Says the guy who likes obedient ones.

Seth: there are some that aren't my type ok; I have collected data on a lot of different types, if you want you can go over my files.

Randal: and why would I do that?

Seth: you need to know how a woman works, how she feels and what are her likes and dislikes.

Randal: And this is going to help me how exactly?

Seth: You saw Pure with Alisha, those two are practically built for each other, and can't you find someone like that for you?

Randal: fine, but if you screw me up on this.

Seth: ill consider my ass kicking a bonus.

Randal: Good.

Randal got to studying with Seth's files on women while Seth was researching on women who did something like that for Randal since he never had something like that happened to him that was not his flesh and blood or parts on his case. Both of them thought they could trust the other a little bit more after they parted and did what they were doing.
