With Pure and Alisha at full power and in their new form headed to the closest coordinates for a Fox spirit. They touched down and beat it senseless. Once it was defeated Pure ripped the reactor right out of its chest and destroyed it. It was another one of their family members but he was still alive since his heart was still there. The troops around picked him up and gave him a tranquilizer so that he wouldn't transform. They took him off to a prison nearby that was modified by Mima's specifications to hold him.

Alisha: well that was easy.

Pure: With us at full power and this new form we should be, but we got a time limit of how much we got before the world ends.

Randal: Speaking of which, how much time do we have left?

Seth: Well we had to wait on the ships which cost us a day, the deletion only cost a few hours and defeating these guys is going to take two weeks with all of us at full throttle.

Pure: Check in guys, what's the status of your side of the earth?

Horatio: We took some hits but blowing out the reactors seems to work.

Jack: Same here, but we are running out of ammo and supplies.

Xiao: The troops are starting to tire from fighting the troops and these Fox Spirits.

Lucinda: Not only them, we are tiring from fighting the tough ones.

Arachnid: The monsters are tiring as well.

Sandra: I'm only halfway done collecting the AIs.

Artemis: My wings can't take much more flight.

Mima: The machines need maintenance before they can fight again.

Jade: We can't take much more of these guys. They will push us back and allow them to win.

Pure: If only we had a way to defeat them easily and keep you guys at maximum.

Mima: From my statistics the team that has the gems last much longer than the ones without them.

Randal: You can't break the gems; the power would weaken if it did.

Pure: Wait a minute, what about awakening the force sleeping inside!

Randal: You mean using the dragon spirit by fusing with the gem?

Alisha: Could that work?

Randal: It would but they would have to be the dragon waiting in the gem first, Pure and Alisha can't do it because they are Fox Spirits and they wouldn't get along.

Pure: Then how would they do it?

Randal: Place the gem where your heart is and concentrate. Once you enter in the gem, you will face a dragon version of yourself and try to beat it, once that is done you will fuse with it and be able to use the power but the gem will be inside your heart forever.

Alisha: Can we help them?

Randal: No, the fight must be their own.

Pure: Can we at least watch the fight?

Randal: Maybe, if we plug them into the pod first.

Pure calls the US president.

Pure: Sir we have a way to beat them but we need time. Alisha and I are in the field now doing what we can, but I need Horatio, Jack and the twins to head back to the fort in order to do it.

US President: Pull them back things are dying down over here and we are ready for the next attack.

Pure: Thank you, sir.
