Evolution from the ashes of extinction

A needle in a haystack, in a gold mine, in the middle of a desert.

While Pure stood guard at the fort with Mima, Chun and Ming while everyone else searched high and low for William and Katrina around the world, all countries were on high alert and scanned every single piece of rock and cave for their signatures but it still came up nothing. Everything was relayed back to Mima and she cleared each part of the world in a 10 block radius. Chun and Ming was with Pure, Alisha and Carolina sitting down and they were listening to the children's' heartbeats while Pure, Alisha and Carolina were watching a movie to pass the time. They had a huge tub of popcorn, extra-large drinks, hot dogs, nachos and some candy. Pure was sipping on his drink when he heard his alarm go off for Lucifer.

Pure: Have to make pit stop girls, tell me how it goes.

Alisha: Ok, see you later.

Pure calls for a portal from Vincent and Pure goes inside. He ends up outside the palace and goes inside, he finds Lucifer at a window looking at the storm Pure had passed through before.

Pure: Hey Lucifer.

Lucifer: Hey.

Pure: Is something wrong?

Lucifer: It's about the currents events happening.

Pure: I know; I'm trying to remedy them as we speak.

Lucifer: I have seen betrayal before but not how that succubus did it.

Pure: Her name is Katrina and power corrupts people, I have seen it firsthand.

Lucifer: Well she has to be stopped before anything else is corrupted.

Pure: Don't worry I will make sure the corruption doesn't spread that far.

Lucifer: Good.

Pure hands Lucifer a bottle of champagne.

Lucifer: How are your new children progressing?

Pure: They are going ok, Alisha and Carolina are taking it easy and making sure they aren't harmed.

Lucifer: Then I hope they will continue the legacy you have started and you can retire and live like how you wanted to.

Pure: Heh, there are a lot of things on my bucket list.

Lucifer: Then I hope you clean it out and make sure everything is back in order, and make sure you send that new butler for me, when you find him make sure you send him my way, I got some plans for him.

Pure: Now you are just being creepy.

Lucifer: Hmm, I am the lord of the underworld after all.

Pure: Speaking of which, what was up last month?

Lucifer: Oh that, let's just say she learned her lesson about trying to run from your punishment.

Pure: This is why I'm not going to ask.

Lucifer: Good, you may go now.

Vincent opens a portal and Pure goes through it. He ends up back with Alisha and Carolina and he sits back down.

Pure: What did I miss?

Alisha: Not much, it's just getting good.

Pure sits back down in his spot and continues watching the movie. Meanwhile Mima was getting nothing from the searches and readings. Mima was talking to Artemis and Marshal.

Mima: Nothing in the next grid you searched Artemis.

Artemis: I'm headed back to the ship; I need to let my wings rest for a bit.

Mima: Roger that, dispatching a drone to take your place.

A drone came out of the ship to take Artemis's place and she went inside by a special pathway that Pure made to let her dock and be in the bridge with Marshal and his crew.
