A score to settle

When the team returned from the bases with the supplies, the AIs and the external servers, everyone came back and were busy storing the new supplies and setting up the new servers. Mima requested the help of Seth and Jade in order to build an environment for the new AIs and regenerate them if necessary. Once everything was accounted for and the AIs were settled in the servers. Pure started to make Artemis's armor and weapons she was busy training her new body to fly like she used to everyone else was getting some rest from their missions. Lucinda was with Horatio cooling off in the water. Jack and Sandra were talking. Lucinda and Artemis were catching upon what happened so far, Alisha was helping Mima with the security of the fort. Arachnid was doing her usual thing; interrogating and draining the blood out of Trixie and the Twins to see if she could get any more information out of them. When Pure was done with Artemis's armor she had a test run with it to see if it will work for her. Once she was comfortable in her new armor she wanted a match versus Arachnid. Everyone gathered in the training area to watch the match between a Spider and a Harpy.

Pure: Ok you two I want a clean match. Arachnid can't use her singing but she can use her webbing to get around. Artemis can use her new claws and Arachnid can use her daggers but no poison. No kill strikes only wounding; I would hate to see someone back in the pod again. Seem fair?

Artemis: Fair enough.

Arachnid: An even match to decide the winner.

Pure: Shake hands and walk away. Alisha will start the match.

Arachnid held out her hand while Artemis held out her wing to shake. They shook each other's hand and walked away so that they could be in battle stance. Once they were ready Alisha started the match.

Alisha: Ready... Begin!

Both of charged forward and their weapons hit each other, they broke away and Artemis started to fly above Arachnid to get an advantage, Arachnid shot some webs at Artemis to end the fight quickly but Artemis dodged them. Artemis came in for a dive attack to try to do some damage to Arachnid, Arachnid blocked the attack but was a little disoriented from the wind coming from Artemis. Arachnid got back in focus and tied one of her daggers to her webbing to make a whip to try and catch Artemis. Arachnid caught Artemis but her metal claws and wings managed to get loose.

Pure: These girls are really into it.

Alisha: Yeah, when we get into a catfight only one cat is leaving the arena.

Arachnid and Artemis were at it heavy for ten minutes until Artemis had Arachnid pinned down and had her at knife point.

Pure: This match is over, Artemis wins.

Artemis: No, I want to know! Was it you that ate my sister!?

Arachnid: No, I was just pushing your buttons. It's what I do best. It is the reason why I became the spider queen; I push buttons that no one else could. I was just pushing them to see your reaction at what I said, I didn't know it would push you that far.

Artemis helps Arachnid back up.

Artemis: You know doing that will get you killed you know.

Arachnid: I'm a heavy risk taker and I like doing it.

Pure: Well lets you two patched up and ready for the next mission. I got a call from the president saying they moving some unfinished new tech to Russia to assemble and use against the US. We can collect the AIs around there and any supplies. Bad news a family member is there too and I too have a score to settle with him as well.

They patch Arachnid and Artemis back up and headed to where the transport was headed. Everyone split up when they got close to Russia. Mima, Sandra, and the twins headed to Russia to collect the AIs and any supplies they could gather, Arachnid went with them as well so they could trance any UDI troops attacking and get more of a meal for both herself and Artemis. The rest of the team headed to a spot where the trucks were passing and waited in the bushes for it to pass.
