Baby Steps

It was the weekend at the fort and everyone had their children. Tanya and Charles stopped by as well. Pure was teaching Pure Jr. and Auriella to walk properly.

Pure: That's it, one foot in front of the other.

Pure had Pure Jr.'s foot on top of his and was walking slowly. Auriella was with Carolina and she was watching. Pure then took up Pure Jr. and sat down.

Pure: These little ones are learning fast.

Sandra: Yes, they are.

Jack was teaching Talia how to walk as well and the worm was following behind closely.

Jack: Come on little one, time for food.

Jack hands Talia to Sandra and she feeds her.

Pure; How are we doing on all of the projects and construction?

Trinity: The regeneration and cybernetic building will be done in a couple of weeks.

Xiao: The clean water project is currently working to decontaminate all waters around the world. Certain areas of the ocean were contaminated but we took care of them.

Daiyu: I built and installed the storage for extra electricity since the carbon engines are collecting a lot of carbon and other elements from the air.

Pure: We might have to gear down the engines soon, plants and some organisms need that carbon to live.

Daiyu: Got it.

Trinity: Ok, he's asleep, let's go train Zhēnbǎo.

Xiao: She whacking you yet?

Trinity: We are just getting started.

Trinity and Zhēnbǎo head to the training area where they find Randal just finishing up with the wolves.

Trinity: Hey Randal.

Randal: Hey Trinity, come to train?

Trinity: Yup.

Randal: Room is all yours I just finished training with my wolves.

The wolves came to Randal and they stood beside him.

Randal: Let's go.

The wolves followed behind Randal heading to the cafeteria.

Trinity: Now for some training.

Zhēnbǎo and Trinity were hard at training for a while until Zhēnbǎo took a pause.

Zhēnbǎo: This isn't going to work; you know how to get past my shield.

Trinity: Know how to get past them.

Zhēnbǎo: Well If you can get past the shield then I'm going to need something in my other hand while the other one is occupied

Trinity: You could use your gun.

Zhēnbǎo: I'm still going on defensive so that is out of the question.

Trinity: Why not try another shield?

Zhēnbǎo calls over the com.

Zhēnbǎo: Pure, did you make a backup to my shield?

Pure: Yeah why?

Zhēnbǎo: I want to try a new fighting style.

Pure: The extra shield is in the armory.

Zhēnbǎo went to the armory and picked up the extra shield. It was a little heavy handling two shields at the same time.
