Flare's POV
A woman brushed my long black hair wearing a simple white long dress while sitting on my bed at my back.
I'm standing in front of my life size mirror wearing a pink floral dress and a pair of white sandals. She's smiling while doing something on my hair. A fish tale perhaps.
I can't remember her. Who is she?
"My little one is so pretty.. You're pretty like me." She chuckled at the moment before she hugged me tight.
"Mama.. Where's ate? Did you see her?" I suddenly ask. Wait what? Is she my mother?
I narrowed my eyes to see her more further and I confirmed that it's her. A younger version of my mom.
"She's probably playing with your cousins at the backyard. You should go and play with them so I can prepare too.. Probably, our relatives are waiting for us." She stated and I unconciously nodded. Maybe this is my past. The younger version of me. Maybe I was 8 years old? 9?
"Yes mama.."
Tumakbo ako palabas ng kwarto at pagbaba ko sa isang engrandeng hagdanan ay may nakita akong dalawang nasa early 30's or late 20's na magkasama paakyat. When they noticed me, I politely bowed my head and greet them.
"Good morning auntie, uncle!"
"Good morning little Flare. Where's you're mother?" The woman asked.
"She's preparing auntie.. She said She'll go down there if she's ready.." I assured them.
They both nodded and smile at me before resuming to step up.
I was too busy for crying because of my fresh wound..
I tilted my head to see them and I saw my sister, smirked.
"Oh my goodness! What did you do Flare?! How-what! Explain this! Now!"
I suddenly felt scared and frightened because of her thunder voice. I cried and cried until my mom and dad arrived. Tumakbo sila sa akin. Mom hugged me while dad is having a conversation with the old woman.
"Hey.. Hey.. Baby, what happened? Why are you crying? Why do you have wounds? Who did these to you?" She asked while caressing my back.
"T-they d-did this to m-me, mama.."
Cold and poker face.
"Watch your words, child! My son can't do that!" Angil ng isang babae sa 'di kalayuan but I was too busy crying so my mom is the one who deals with them.
"Calm your voice Amila. You're scaring my daughter." My mom said, calmly.
"But you're daughter is a liar! How dare she to point to my son her own mistakes!" Ani naman ng isa.
