When Love Hits You

Prologue

     Love is complicated. We can't really explain the meaning of this without full experience. It somehow, breaks you or builds you. What is it with love to the point that we cannot define it?

"Love makes everyone stupid." When you're in love, you can do all things for love. It can tear people apart and make us do irrational things. This emotion, bring tears to our eyes and pain to our heart. Love is a dark and intangible feeling that often exposes its targets to danger, pain and suffering. Love is a dangerous component of life and it works to deceive and manipulate other people's heart.

Love is like a rose. The beauty of the flower is indescribable with words, but the stems are filled with vile thorns. Like a rose, it looks attractive and stunning, but as you look closer and examine it thoroughly, you will discover that it comes with pricks of jealousy, hatred, and mistrust and it will weaken you.

Some people's love has been abused, yet if there were no such thing as love, nobody would get hurt.

I may sound bitter but that's kind a true. But...

Pain and love are two different words. Love and pain aren't the same things but they are directly proportional to each other. Love without pain is not love and pain without love is nothing. The more you love someone, the more they can hurt you.

When people desire painful love, it can mean that they desire pain as punishment for feeling loved. They desire abuse as they don't feel worthy of love.

Some people chose not to love because their biggest roadblock is pain. They are afraid to experience pain and such things. Fear is like a group of chains, holding you back from the things you really want and need. And, each time you overcome fear, it is like breaking another chain.

When you're in the essence of love, be ready to experience pain. After all of the pain, don't be afraid to fall again, at least you've learned something about love. After crying, smile. Tell yourself "I never laughed again at the jokes I heard before. So, I won't cry at the same reason again."
