I Miss You

"I really need to go." I smiled to my laptop screen, his eyelids were heavy. FaceTiming with a time zone difference was hard. "Hm yeah." He yawned. "Have a good sleep baby." I said stroking his cheek on the screen. He smiled. "Have a good day at work beautiful." He yawned again. I blew a kiss. "I love you Jakey." I said. He blew a kiss back. "I love you too baby. Just 10 sleeps to go." He grinned. I squealed, before ending the call.

Just 10 sleeps until I see Jake after 4 months apart...

I grabbed my keys and my bag, I locked my flat door and dashed downstairs. I hopped into my car and started the engine. I connected my phone to aux and shuffle played my playlist. I danced and sang, whilst I drove to work. I pulled up and grabbed my phone. Slipping my lanyard on, I grabbed my bag. I walked towards the door. "Morning." Ella said as she walked next to me. "Morning." I said happily. "Am I write in saying it's 10 bloody sleeps?" She squeaked. "Yes." I said squeezing her hand. "Just in time for his birthday. I'm going to collect his present the eve of his birthday- Anthony and Nick are helping me sneak it in. It's gonna be so good." I said as we both swiped the card on our lanyard. "Ready to enter hell?" Ella smiled sarcastically. "As ready as I'll ever be." I sighed. She pushed open the Staff door. "Morning ladies." Scott smirked. "Keep your eyes to yourself Scotty boy." I teased. He hit his chest with his hands. "Forever breaking my heart Y/N." He laughed.

I went to my locker and put my stuff in. I changed into my work clothes- my dress, which matched all the other girls and my heels. I sprayed some perfume and added a little lipstick. I gave my hair some volume, popped a mint in and headed out. I was a waitress at a hotel.

I finished work and went to my car. I dialled Jake's number on my phone and connected the Bluetooth to it. "Hey gorgeous." I said, as I reversed. "Hey baby." He said, his voice sounded really near. I pulled out onto the red traffic light. I felt a presence behind me. I turned around and burst into tears as I pulled over asap. He climbed into the front of the car and I grabbed him. "Oh my god." I screamed, sobbing so, so much. "Hey gorgeous." He said, flashing a toothy grin at me. He kissed me. "I missed you." He said. "You missed me, so you surprised me?! Jakeyyyyyyy." I squealed.
