"Despite everyone's concerns, I've made my decision. Please tell them I'm ready to begin." I said, swallowing the tears. Erika held my hand. "Just So you know, I thought it would help. I don't know what I was thinking getting Jake in here." She blurted. "No. It helped. It made sure I knew what I was doing, now I know I've made the right decision." I said. She nodded. "I'll go tell them you're ready." She smiled. She left the room and I felt my chest tighten. My eyes filled with tears as I took a deep breath. "I can do this." I whispered.
I watched everyone walk down the aisle before me. Getting more and more nervous. My Dad linked his arm into mine. "Are you sure you're doing the right thing?" He asked. I quickly wiped a single tear away. "Yes. I'm sure." I said. He nodded. "Let's get you married then."
Jake:
Everyone stood up and so did I. Chance looked at me. "This is your only chance." He mumbled. Anthony turned back to look at me. "He's right. You've got one shot to win her back. Or she'll marry him." He hissed. She came down the aisle, her beautiful y/e/c filling with tears. Her hand shaking, her lip trembling. Her Dad looked at me sternly and I nodded. He smiled back. I felt butterflies as she walked past me. He took her hand and she stepped onto the podium. He pushed her veil back and she grinned.
Y/N:
We got to the most dreaded part of the wedding, I looked up into Cameron's eyes. "Speak now, or forever hold your piece..." The priest looked around the room, Jake stood up and I felt my eyes burning with tears, Cameron dropped my hands as a video started playing out the speakers. "I love you more and more everyday Jake, but Cameron...He's so different, he loves me in a way you never have. You have to love some people by not being with them, that's what I'm doing. If you try and stop this wedding, I will never forgive you. You have spent the past year trying to wreck my engagement party, anything to do with my relationship. On the night he proposed, I gave you the chance to whisk me away and to never come back, but you didn't, so I've moved on." The video finished and Jake walked out.
**FLASHBACK 1 HOUR PREVIOUSLY**
"...I've moved on." I said. "Please, run out of here with me- anywhere you want to go. I love you Y/N and I'm not ready to let go." He said tearing up. I went quiet, and thought about it for a second. "I can't. Losing you has killed me inside, but we can't be together and you know it." I said sadly. He held my hands, running his fingers over the engagement ring. "I will never stop loving you, I know you aren't leaving Team 10, but I will never ever ever close that door...That possibility you might change your mind. And you know that no matter what, I will always be there for you." He said. His voice cracked at the end, I hugged him tightly. "I'm so sorry Jake." I whispered, he rubbed my back. "Me too." He whispered back.
**END OF FLASHBACK**
The whole room fell silent and everyone looked at me. I had one chance to run, far away with Jake. I looked at Cameron. His beautiful green eyes filled with tears. He slipped the engagement ring off my finger. "I know you have to go. It's been a whirlwind and I will never forget you." He smiled, kissing my forehead softly. "Thank-you for everything Cam, you've changed my life." I said. Shocked, everyone started to move. I picked up my dress and ran back to the dressing room. I changed quickly into my shorter dress, that I was going to wear during the evening. I ran outside and saw Jake waiting at the curb for an Uber. "Jake..." I said, running over to him. I smashed my lips against his, he kissed back so passionately. "I choose you." I said, tears rolling down my cheeks. He kissed me again, tilting me back, but holding me so lovingly. "I love you." He said wiping my tears away. "I love you too." I smiled.
