Jake:

"She was touched by a man that isn't me." I roared angrily. "You have to stay calm for her, she is the one who's damaged. She's petrified in there." Anthony said. "I want to kill the guy." I said smashing my fists together. "She was raped Jake. You need to be in that hospital room with her, by her side." Anthony said. I nodded. "You're right."

I arrived at the hospital room and went into her room. Her face was pale, the bags under her eyes blacker than black, she was sat up, her hair in a tight ponytail, her hands clenched tightly, her eyes focused on something in the distance. "Hey baby." I said, unclenching her fist. I held it gently. Tears started to pour down her cheeks. "Hey." She whispered. I got a hairbrush out her bag. "I got you this...shall I brush it?" I asked. She shook her head. "No it's okay." She whispered, she held my hand lightly. "You're going to be okay sweet." I said, stroking her cheek with my hand. She rolled over to face me. She snuggled down and held my hand tightly. "Don't ever leave me Jake." She whispered, tears rolling down her face.

I closed my eyes and it all flooded back. I opened my eyes and sat up panting. Sweat trickled down my back and I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. I swallowed the tears. I was done crying over it now. "You know you're going to be okay gorgeous." He said reassuringly. "I feel so dirty." I cried, he held me gently in his arms. "Oh sweet." He whispered. "This is not your fault- you aren't dirty." He whimpered as he kissed my cheek. I held his hand. "Do you promise it'll be okay?" I whispered. "Promise, I will be here every step of the way." He said softly. He kissed my forehead gently.
