Trust

"I am trusting you with everything right now." He said, I'd never seen him look so scared in the entire time I knew him. "Yes, please trust me Jake. I can do this." He passed me the flash drive, it caught the light. "I trust you...Promise me nobody else will ever see this?" He asked. "Of course." He nodded and I walked back inside. I sprinted up to my room, locked the door and plugged it into my Mac. I put one headphone in and watched the video.

By the end, my eyes were streaming. Jake had been in so much pain recently and nobody understood. Finally, I understood why he did what he did. Why he let Chance, Nick, Tessa, Martinez Twins, Alex, Alissa, Dobre Twins...why he'd let everyone go. Jake knew sometimes he made such dick moves, that he knew he had made mistakes. But, that everyone that walks into this house deserves the upmost respect from everyone. That he loved everyone who had grown with him. And that even when it goes wrong, family are family and just because people leave Team 10 it doesn't always mean that there's been 'beef'.

I unplugged it and held it tightly in my palm. I went downstairs and handed it back to him. "That was beautiful Jake and I'm sorry you feel like everyone's against you." He held my hand. "Do you understand why I'm scared of commitment now? I want to be with you yes, but no labels right now." He stood up. "I understand that, I respect and that and whole-heartedly I think it makes me fall for you even more." I kissed his soft lips and he kissed back- more passionate than ever before.
