"You can't honestly believe I would intentionally hurt you..." He asked. I felt my eyes tear up, but I stopped myself from crying in front of him...again. "I did okay? What does that say about how I feel? If I believed even for a split second that you did that...That means the trust in our relationship is gone Jake. It's why I'm with somebody else, it's why I'm getting married in a month, it's why you're stood here at my engagement party. Because, our relationship is over." I said. He gulped and looked me straight in the eye. "That's not gonna stop me from loving you." He said. I heard the door open and Josh came in. "What's going on babe?" He asked, resting his hand on my back. I adjusted my dress. "Nothing. Jake's leaving." I said, Jake walked out and I felt my heart break a little more. "Come on. The party's nowhere near over yet." He said, I grabbed his arm and kissed him. "I love you." He said, I bit my lip. "I love you too." We went back out and I socialised.

Around 2am, basically everyone had left. We tidied up the venue and went home. "What's wrong?" Josh asked, I was kind of moody. "Nothing." I said, he pulled me towards him by my hands. "Come on, tell me baby." He said cupping my face in his hands. He leant forward and kissed me lightly on the forehead. "I'm worried Jake's trying to ruin us." I said, he wiped my tears away with his thumb. "Don't cry gorgeous girl. He won't ruin anything, I won't let anything ruin us baby girl." I wrapped my arms around his neck and he held me tightly. "I'm sorry for all the problems he's caused so many problems." I said holding his hands. "This isn't your fault okay? He broke your heart over and over again. I came and saved the day." He laughed, I laughed back and kissed him lightly in the lips. "I'll protect you now okay? Future wife..." I squealed as he picked me up, I kicked my heels off and pressed my lips against his. He held my hips and kissed back- so passionately.

**one month later**

"You ready?" My Mum smiled, I looked at myself in the mirror. "I've never felt more ready in my life." I said excitedly. She placed my tiara onto the top of my curled hair, she stood behind me- resting her hands on my arms. She teared up. "Hey no crying yet." I said squeezing her hand. She smiled. "I'm glad you met Josh. He's made you so happy after what happened." I felt my eyes gloss over. The door clicked open and we both turned around. My stomach churned and my arms felt heavy. "What are doing here?" My Mum asked angrily. "I came to see Y/N." Jake said. I clenched my fist, but quickly released it when my acrylics dug into my hand. "You shouldn't be here." My Mum retorted. "Let me deal with this, go and check everyone is ready." I said holding her hand. She left and I looked at Jake.

"You need to go now." I said. He looked at my dress. "You look beautiful." He said, I shook my head. "Stop. Stop pretending we would ever work again." I said, smoothing my dress down. "You know it should be us up there." He said. I adjusted my tiara slightly. "You broke my heart, I fell in love with someone new." I said. He smiled. "I'm sorry, but I love you more than anything. All I want is your happiness." He said. Finally, I felt a little at ease. "I checked with Josh that I could be at the ceremony- just to put my mind at rest. He said it was fine." I looked at him and his eyes filled with tears. I walked over and hugged him tightly. "You mean so much to me Jake. You made me the person I am today." I whispered. He held me tightly. "Good luck out there, and just so you know your Team 10 contract isn't over." He smiled. "You really thought you could get rid of me that easy!" I laughed. He headed out and my Dad came in. "Let's get you married."
