The beeping monitors had become a calming technique for me, I could feel my heartbeat becoming regular again as I held his hand. His eyes were shut tight and he was in a deep, deep coma. The tubes running in and out of his body looked painful. Pam and Greg sat on the other side of Jake and Logan beside me. The Doctor came in. "Hello." He said, a girl slipped in behind him as he shut the door. "Jake Paul, car accident currently sedated in a coma due to the extensive injuries as seen." I looked at her and my eyes teared up. Logan put his arm around me and held me tightly. "We are going to take him for a CT to see the extensive brain damage and then we will operate and hopefully wake him up. We have our best brain surgeon Dr.Comfort working on Jake, we are doing everything we can to make sure the damage is as little as possible."

The CT had shown his brain damage and they were operating on him. I was praying that Jake would come out of that OR alive and living his best life. The operation was long and it was getting stuffy in the hospital, so I stepped outside with Logan. We sat silently on a bench, their were a handful of fans camping out, praying with candles. It was the holidays, so they didn't have school. They saw me and Logan, and they came over. There was only four girls, all in merch with a couple tears running down their faces. "We wanted to give you this, it's helping all the Jake Paulers be at peace." She passed me a candle holder, decorated it read; 'Tonight we pray, to help our nerves stay at bay..." There were a few hearts and then a 'JP'. "Thank-you." I whispered, she also passed one to Logan. "This means so much to all of us." My phone lit up with Pam's face. I answered. "You and Logan need to come inside, they have news." She said. I hung up and we ran in. They were in his room, but he wasn't there. "We tried our hardest..." He started. I felt tears pouring down my face. "And he's currently stable." I let out a sob as a sigh of relief and Greg side hugged me. "We couldn't remove all of the damage, but we took as much as we could out."

He was wheeled in, they wanted to him to wake up now. We stood in the corner as they slowly brought him out of sedation. His eyelids fluttered and they started removing the tubing. His head was bandaged and he seemed pretty sleepy. They checked him over and I gave the Paul's a minute to speak to Jake. They came out and I went in. I shut the door and looked into his eyes. "Hey beautiful." He said quietly, I sat next to him and tears raced down my face and dropped onto my chest. "Hey baby." I held his hand tightly and stroked his face. "I am so, so proud of you."

**3 days later***

To all of the fans and friends of Jake,

It's with deepest pain and heartbreak that we are announcing this. On 25/03/18 at 7:58 pm Jake gained his wings and flew to heaven. He's given the best fight in the last 3 days after the most traumatic ordeal. Many of you know that Jake was in a head on collision in L.A last week, he was in a sedated coma and then had a life-threatening operation on his brain. He fought until his last breath and all of us are so proud of him.

We are releasing balloons and lanterns on the 27/03/18 at 18:00 at the walk of fame- Jake's favorite spot in Hollywood. All are welcome to come and say goodbye to Jake as the funeral will be closed to the public.

We thank you all for your ongoing support for us and Jake, we love and miss him so much already.

-Pam, Greg, Logan & Y/N.
