Y/N:

I tapped my knuckles on Jake's door. My hand dropped and I fiddled with my acrylics. No answer. His music was so loud, that the door was vibrating. Everyone looked at me. "He's not gonna talk to anyone else." I looked at the engagement ring on my finger. "You can't take it off." Anthony said. I felt my eyes fill with tears. "Go downstairs all of you. I'd like some privacy." I said choking up. They left and I pushed the door open. 'Life is Worth Living' was blasting out of his speaker. He was sat on the edge of his bed, his head in his hands- sobbing. I'd never seen Jake shed a tear let alone sob. Alissa had just sold a story to the press and made a video regarding her leaving Team 10, Max, the Martinez Twins, the bar incident with Banks and basically trying to ruin Jake's life. Her words were ringing in my ears; "Jake's a bully.", "He never loved me. It was always Y/N.", "Ivan and Emilio were treated like scum.", "I hate Jake with every last part with me.", "He stole my money, cheated on me, even tried to sell me. Yes sell me as a fucking prostitute."

Jake and I dated way just as Team Ten became a thing. I met Jake in our second to last year in high school and fell head over heels for him. I was a transfer and I was so nervous about everyone and everything. He made me welcome and he also fell head over heels for me. We were so in love, but ended up having very different life plans. I was ready to start a family, settle down, get married and live a peaceful life. He wanted to smash the internet, move in with tons of influencers and wasn't prepared to start a family just yet. So we broke up and I met my current fiancé- Jack. We live in a flat in L.A, I ended up staying in L.A, because I've fallen in love with the city itself.

"Jake..." I said softly, shutting the door behind me. Warm tears prickled the back of my eyes. He briefly looked up at me. "What are you doing here?" He asked sharply. The music was still blasting, I reached over to pause the music. "I said what are you doing here?" He shouted, as a tear rolled down his cheek. "Jake...I want to help you. All of you. With what Alissa's...." He stood up as I spoke- he ran his fingers through his hair. "There's nothing you can do to fix this or stop this. She will continue lying, manipulating and scheming until she can finally ruin anything I have left." He shouted, trying so hard to stop himself crying. "Okay maybe I can't fix it or stop it. But, I can be here for you. I can be your friend and I can try to understand what's going on Jake." I said also tearing up. I reached out for his hand. "You're engaged..." He mumbled. "Yeah. I'm here as your friend with no ulterior motives." I said, I held his hand tightly.

"I feel like an idiot, for letting her in, giving her everything and getting next to nothing in return. I feel like an idiot for letting go of her, giving her the ammunition. I feel like an idiot, because this is all my fault." He said. I pulled him into a tight hug, he cried into my shoulder. "This is not your fault Jake. None of this is your fault." I said holding him so tightly, trying not to sob as well. We stood there for a couple minutes, he cried and I just held him. Finally, after what felt like days he let go of me. "You are strong Jake, you can get through this." I said wiping my eyes. I held his hands. "Thankyou. I really needed that." He smiled. I hugged him again. "You know I'm practically just down the road, a text away or just one phone call away. I'm always here for you Jake, no matter what happened between us- ugly or beautiful. You changed my life forever, you gave me the most incredible opportunities. I would never turn my back on you."

We both went downstairs and I said goodbye to everyone. Jake walked me out to my car. "We're having a Team Ten party to celebrate all of our new members next week...remember what I said about never closing that door?" He smiled. Being back at the house, was so super nostalgic, I didn't realise how much I missed living with some of my closest friends, the atmosphere, everything about it. "Tomorrow. I want to re draw my contract up." I smiled. He clapped his hands together. "Yes, I'll get Joe, Nick, and your manager to meet here at 2'o'clock tomorrow." He said. I climbed into the car and wound the window down. "See you then." I drove down the drive to the gate.
