Hey Baby...I Love You

I'd had a long day and I was so tired. I went straight up to my room and dumped my bag on the desk. My feet ached, I'd been in heels all day. I kicked my heels off and rubbed my feet. Music blasted from my speaker as I took off all my makeup and changed into my comfy clothes.

The door clicked open and Jake came in. "Hey." He grinned, I hugged him and he wrapped his arms around me. "You okay?" He asked, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. He kissed my forehead. "I'm good." I smiled. "So, I've got a meeting, but I'll come see you later okay beautiful?" He asked, I looked up into his eyes. "Okay." I pouted. He kissed me lightly on the lips. "See you later." He called. "See you later babe." I called. The door closed and I sat down on my bed. I edited my vlog and scheduled it to upload later that night. I showered and got into my pyjamas. I dried my hair off and did my skincare. My phone buzzed with messages from different people and then my door clicked open. "Have you looked on Twitter?" Sunny asked. I unlocked my phone to see the same picture of Jake and another girl kissing circulating over Twitter. My heart broke into a million pieces.

Jake and I have only been together for 3 months, but I'm really falling in love with him and I thought it was super serious.

I broke down into tears and everyone piled into my room. I ignored Jake repeatedly calling me. "I'm so sorry Hun." Erika said, holding me as I cried. Sunny held my hand, Alex rubbed my back and Rocky crouched in front of me. Slowly, everyone left me to my own thoughts.

I sat with my head in my hands, trying to calm down.             The door opened. "Hey baby, I was tryna call you." Jake said, his voice cracked a little at the end. I didn't move, my eyes were sore from all the tears and I was exhausted. "I know you were." I said, wiping my tears away with my sleeve. I stood up and tried to walk past him, he grabbed me. "Hey give me a cuddle." He said. "Why are you doing this? When you know I've seen the pictures..." I mumbled, he dropped my arm. "I promise it meant nothing, I love you." He said. It was the first time either of us had said 'I love you', but it didn't feel special. "I can't believe you just said that in this situation. When you've cheated on me." I cried, he tried to comfort me, but I pushed him away. "We're over." I said. "Please..." I pushed past him and ran downstairs.
