The whole of Team Ten had gone for a day on the beach, the sun was setting and it felt so great to be surrounded by people I love. I was walking next to Jake and he put his arm around my waist.

I have loved Jake since we were little, we grew up together and we were super close. We've had a couple one night stands recently and we've been growing a new connection- I'm not sure he feels the same way, but at least I'm getting a small piece of what I've waited for my entire life.

"You're my favourite." He said offhand, he looked at me and his blue eyes sparkled with excitement. "Favourite?" I questioned, my cheeks going a little pink. "Oh well..." He stammered, he bit his lip. "Well just that, my favourite pair of eyes to look into. My favourite name to appear on my phone screen. My favourite way to spend an afternoon. Fill in the blank. Beautiful...I left it at favourite for a reason." His cheeks tinged a little red as he kept his hold on me. Our eyes were fixed as we walked towards the car.

"You're my favourite too. My favourite voice to hear when I'm miles away. My favourite pair of lips to kiss. My favourite hand to hold. You're my favourite too." He bent down and our lips touched. It was passionate and electrifying. I felt like the world was spinning on its top. I kissed back, taking control of the kiss. When we pulled apart everyone was looking at us.

"Damn you ain't hit!" Chad shouted. "GET A ROOOOM!!!" Kade teased. I slipped my hand into his and it felt like a new beginning. A new chapter for Jake and I.
