"Come on Jake." I sighed as he messed around with his hair. I went up behind him and rested my arms around his waist. He huffed. "It looks shit." He said getting annoyed. I rubbed his arms. "It looks fine. You look hot okay?" I giggled. He turned around and kissed me. "Let's go then."

We were walking into the event, when a girl came over. She was grinning. "Jake!" She said excitedly. He grinned back and hugged her. She had long, blonde hair that was in loose waves. Her eyes were crystal blue and she had really amazing makeup. It was a good mix of natural and glam. She was wearing a skirt and a cropped top. Her skin was sunkissed and her figure was incredible. "Long time no see." She said flirtatiously raising an eyebrow. She looked to me. "This is my friend Y/N." Friend? Fuck. That word stung like a bitch. I hugged her. "I'm Kenzie, it's nice to meet you." She said warmly. Soon, her attention was back to Jake.

Kenzie...The name was ringing a bell, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Kenzie...Kenzie...FUCK!! Kenzie. As in Jake's ex Kenzie. They were together for 3 and half years and when he started to get big they broke up, because she didn't want to be famous. Now, she's at a influencers event in L.A when she lives in Ohio? Kenzie broke Jake's heart, all of Team 10 couldn't help him. I'd never seen someone in such a dark place. Jake and I have been flirting for about a year now, for about 3 months we've sort of been together, but we haven't labelled it. I've always introduced him as my boyfriend, eventhough we never confirmed it. I would never, ever call him my 'friend'.

Her eyes were fixed on him. "What brings you to an influencers event then?" He asked. I knew that deep down he would always love her that little bit, he was her first proper love. But, he looked at her with a kind of lovey sadness in his eyes and she saw it too. "I've started blogging, after you and Logan blew up most teens and young adults in Ohio do something similar. Blogging is sort of an outlet from my normal life." She said smiling as she teared up a little. I looked to her hand and she had a huge engagement ring on her finger. He looked down and noticed it too. "Wow, who's the lucky man?" He asked, his voice cracked a little and his eyes teared over majorly. "Josh, remember we went to high school with him?" She said. Jake nodded. "Well, congratulations." He said forcing a smile. I could feel my throat closing up and my eyes sting. "Excuse me." I said quietly. I slipped away.

Kenzie:

"Excuse me." Y/N said quietly, she slipped away and left the room. "Why didn't you tell me you were engaged? Why did you cut me off?" Jake said pounding me with several more questions. "I'm sorry I cut you off, I was heartbroken too and it was the only way I was ever gonna get over you." I said pushing my hair out of my face. I looked at my ring. "Josh reached out after we broke out and was a great support. I kinda fell for him then and there. We're getting married in Spring 2019." I said softly. He nodded. "Nice." He said sharply. "Y/N...She's very beautiful Jake. Your type to a T..." I trailed off as he looked to the ground. "Yeah she's a cool girl." He muttered. "Jake..." He looked up. "That girl is quite clearly in love with you and you just introduced her as your friend? You don't think we don't see all the headlines about you back home? I've seen the videos." I said shaking my head, I stopped. "Don't fuck her around, because you'll lose her Jake." I said. I sipped my drink. "It was nice to see you." I said resting my hand on his arm. "Yeah you too. Good luck with the blog and the wedding." He said. I walked away.

Y/N:

I was outside for about 10 minutes, before Jake came out. "I'm sorry." He said resting his hand on my back. I turned around. "I guess I'm scared of putting a label on it, because when I did with any other girl it made it so different...I guess I just don't want to lose you. I've never had something like this. Where I fall for my best-friend. Losing you would ruin me." He said. I grabbed his hands and, pulled him close to me. "Good job you won't have to lose me then." I whispered, I smashed my lips against his and he kissed back passionately. We pulled apart and he held my hands a little tighter. "You're my girlfriend now." He said, biting on his lip. "I guess so." I giggled.
