~Chapter 44~

We got out and everything was fine. I was a little nervous as people from the busy streets made way for us and started talking and bowing. I looked at my brother who had his eyes closed. Eliza was looking at her hands the entire ride to the emperor's house. We finally got out and kiku was standing there wearing what looked like a head military uniform. I got out the carriage after my brother and I smiled at Kiku. He smiled and looked relaxed. There was a line of guards making way for us left and right in a straight line as our guards were surrounding the large house along with their guards. Only 2 guards entered with us closely behind and Eliza also came along. When we got inside I hugged Kiku, he tensed up at first but then relaxed and put his hand on my back while patting my head. I quickly got away and bowed, if my brother had his eyes opened he was surely going to kill me. He smiled and vowed . "Its nice to see you again emperor of japan." I said formally. He looked surpriesed and with a face that read ' why aren't you acting normal?'. I pointed at my brother and then slowly moved my index finger across my throaght. He nodded and understood. My brother vowed and smiled at Kiku. "Emperor Honda thank you so much for welcoming us to your great empire I'm the ruler of the diamond kingdom king Gilbert." He said. Kiku bowed "it's a pleasure to meet you king." He said. He lead us to a table and one of his maids gave us a cup of green tea. I took a sip and it was quiet. "How is ruling going for you?" I asked. He put his cup down and thought. "Its not too hard but it isn't easy at all, I have so many responsibilitys and request from many of my people." He said. I nodded in understanding. "How's the crew?" He asked. "Well they've been fine,right now there in town buying goods." I said. He nodded, I sighed I couldn't keep acting like this anymore. I looked at my brother and I could tell he knew what I was gonna do. "My empire is doing great now and I haven't had to many problems with anyone." He said. I stood up and he looked at me confused. "See I told you could do it, I'm glad everything's going good for you." I said going over to him sitting on the left to him. My brother looked so nervous and Eliza looked surprised. "Thanks a lot princess,how's being a pirate?" He asked. Everything finally felt normal and I felt relieved "Well I'm known as the queen of the ocean and I died but somehow came back to life, also there was this woman she called herself the second female pirate and she was the one that technically killed me because she said she wanted my throne of female pirate. Oh and don't forget I got kidnapped by a gang that was owned by the emporor of China, I save some girls who were caught there Eliza the one here with us is one of them." Is said. He smiled and told me his stories about ruling. "That's so cool." I said taking a sip of tea. "How's arthur and you going?" He asked casually sipping tea while i almost spit mine out if it weren't for my brother giving me that look  of 'don't you dare'. "Fine I guess." I said a little quietly. Kuro and Eliza smirked and I rolled my eyes. My brother looked relieved that nothing was going bad. "Hey kuro have you seen this man in town anywhere?" I asked taking out the picture that I sneakily stole from Eliza while she hugged me. It was of her love Eliza checked everywhere but didn't find it and she looked at me in disbelief. I smirked and leaned closer to kuro who was thinking while looking at the picture. "Actually he's working right now in the rice fields,a very good worked." He said glancing at the picture one more time. "Is he married or does he have a family?" I asked. "Not that i know of." He said. I nodded and looked at Eliza, those eyes of hope and life began to shine bright. I smiled at her "why are you so interested in him?" Asked kuro giving the picture back to me. "Oh it's just I've heard about him from a certain someone and she's Been looking for him I just want to help her." I said glancing at Eliza with a smirk. "Would like to walk around town?"Asked kuro. I nodded and my brother nodded in approval also. Japanese guards held a board big enough for a family of four on their shoulders. Kiku got on and my brother followed. "Their gonna take us?" I asked. Kiku nodded and my brother looked confused but nodded. I felt bad for the men, their shoulders must be aching from carying the emporer all over the place. There were four guards underneath and they looked painted and a little frustrated. "I know you don't like it but that's how it is here, I have no choice it's a royal rule." Said kuro. I got underneath the board and put my hands on top. The guards looked shocked and surprised. I motioned for them to get out and they did. I gave it all my strength and finally did it. The guards looked shocked and surprised some even impressed. "Pleaze zister, I zon't want zo to get hurt." Said Gilbert. "Those men looked tired and pained i don't want to hurt them so I might as well help them half way and then let them take over when there ready." I said. "Please don't do this because if you do this my people will think I force other kingdom rulers to do my deeds just because their in my Empire." Said kuro sorta panicking. I sighed they were a little heavy but I guess he was right I didn't want to embarrass or ruin reputations just because of a mistake I make. They got off and I gently put the board down. I fell to my knees and rubbed my shoulders. My brother helped me up and flicked me in the head. "I have a mission before I go to town ." I said determined. "Kuro you're not aloud to the rice fields right?" I asked. He nodded while tilting his head in confusion. "Can I borrow male clothes for a moment, you guys can take a break and talk for a while." I said stretching. Kuro went inside for some clothes for me. I got inside and out them on. They were brown pants and a white Blouse with suspenders, I wore a black bandana on my head to hide my hair and since the shirt was more looser I didn't have to wear straps to hide my chest. I quickly said my goodbyes and ran in town to look for that man. "Excuse me do you know english?" Asked Arthur. They looked lost I was glad he didn't notice me if he did he would probably interrupt my plans. I nodded and he looked relieved "Where is your nearest restaurant?" He asked. I looked around a little panicked, but thankfully earth was on my side and I found a restaurant. I pointed and he left thanking me. I sighed in relief and kept walking through town. I decided to rest for a while it was crowded and hot. I stopped and paid for a cup of water. I looked at the left side of the restaurant that seemed to be in the middle of nowhere and there it was the rice fields.I saw Eliza luckily walking around confused. "Eliza!" I shouted running towards her. She looked at me a little confused. "Its me (y/n) I'm gonna find that man by pretending to work in the rice fields." I say. She smiled and seemed relieved. "Aren't the rice fields there?" She asked pointing over there. "Okay you sit down in the restaurant and order something so it will seem like a coincidence while I try to find him." I said giving her a bag of coins. She nodded and sat ordering some foods. I walked to the rice fields and decided to work. I carried the baskets on my shoulder all the way to the small house. I carried 2 baskets every time to make it quicker. Everyone looked shocked even the elderly, I did look small so no one expect someone like me to have such strenght. I waited for more baskets so I decided to sit for a while. "Your pretty good." Said a man approaching me, he had a Japanese accent like kuro. I nodded and smiled at him. "I'm Chao." He said extending his arm out to me. I shook it and smiled "I'm." I paused I never thought of a male name to make up. No one knows my name so I guess it wouldn't make any suspicions. "I'm (y/n)." I said. He looked at me in disbelief, "Your a girl, how do you have such great strenght I'm only able to carry one basket and that's by walking you ran back and forth with 2 baskets." He said sitting besides me. I smiled and rubbed the back of my head "I do a lot of training and ecxersise." I said. He nodded and thought for a moment I looked at the man's features more he looked familiar. "Did you hear the king and princess from the diamond kingdom are in Japan visiting." I said. He nodded "I'm a little worried but it's nice to have other kingdoms visit ours." He said. "Why worried?" I asked confused. "Well because they took a boat, the king of the seven seas and the first female pirate or queen of the ocean are roaming the ocean I'm worried they might attack them." He said. I wanted to tell him I'm not evil and that the stories about me are true but I would never attack for fun, but I held it back. "Oh actually the king of the seven seas is the one who helped them get here." I said smiling. He looked at my eyes and I could feel him analyzing. "I heard rumors that the princess of the diamond kingdom is the first female pirate because the princess is the only one in the world with blue hair and the first female pirate has blue hair also." He said. "I hope she doesn't attack us I heard she powerful." He said a little worried. I sighed and looked up thinking for a moment. I realized something and it hit me like a truck. This man is the one who I've been looking for. "Are you married or do you have any love interest?" I asked. He thought for a moment "Not really I haven't been thinking about marrying anyone yet." He said. I was glad, I grabbed his wrist and led him to the restaurant. " where are we going?" He asked a little flustered. I didn't make eye contact "I'm hungry so were going to get a bite, it's my treat." I said. He smiled and followed. I pretended to not see Eliza and Chao didn't seem to notice, then again she was sitting way too far away from us all the way in the corner. She didn't seem to see me because she looked calm and staring at the window. "Have you been to the diamond kingdom before or anywhere near there?" I asked. He looked up and thought for a moment "when I was a teenager, I worked for a Chinese gang planting them crops." He said. I nodded in understanding. "Have you met anyone there before?" I asked my heart beating with exitment. "Well there were some girls in the cell beneath, I talked to one of them through the cell window." He said. "That's interesting." I said. "I hoped that she is safe and free while I was here." He said softly. "Oh really what did she looked like?" I asked. He looked flustered but proceeded "she was beautiful her eyes didn't have life but her smile is what gave it all out, she didn't look like she was in the best condition but I still liked her for her personality she was nice and kind to the other girls in there and she always helped me entertain while I was working by talking to me." He said. "I do hope she's still alive I left without telling her because it was unexpected, my brother was sick and the gang sent me back to Japan." He said. I was happy. "Well actually the first female pirate saved the girls in the cell but she stayed there, they girls were freed thanks to her." I said proudly. He s eyes brightened up "really what did they do after the female pirate helped them?" He asked. "Well the female pirate sent them to the town where they were helped and fed properly, but she had to return to the cell." I said. He nodded "I always thought she was an evil person who was selfish and killed for fun, I never knew she saved people." He said softly. To me those words felt like daggers to me heart. "Yeah." I said looking away. I gestured for him to come closer and he did. "The first female pirate is the princess of the diamond kingdom she isn't just a ruthless cold blooded person, she helped save a village in Denmark by fighting in their war, she saved those girls risking her life and even saved them for getting killed, she also helps people and worries for them she only kills when needed." I said softly trying to make myself sound more than a cold blooded killer. He smiled "I'm glad to hear that, so she's here I need to thank her and ask her how Eliza is." He said leaning back on his chair. "Remember she's here as a princess." I said. He looked upset and nodded in understanding. "Your welcome though." I said. He looked at me confused, so did the nosy waitress. I took my bandana off revealing my blue hair. His eyes widened in shock. "I'm sorry for what I said princess I mean pirate." He said. I forgave him and stood up. "I've been looking for you." I said. He tilted his head "why?" He asked. "I came all the way here too look for you because I wanted to give Eliza a present because I want her to be happy." I said. "Your so kind I'm glad she has a friend like you." He said softly. I excuse myself for a moment. I rushed to Eliza "I found him." I said. She looked flustered and panicked. Her smile widened and her eyes shine brighter than the stars in the night sky. I grabbed her by her arm while covering her eyes. "Chao I brought you a present too." I said. He turned around and his eyes widened. I let go of Eliza and uncovered her eyes. They stared at each other for a while before they rushed over and hugged each other. I walked out and sighed. My shoulders still hurt a little but not as bad as before. I walked down the path and my hair was still out. Everyone vowed and some started whispering things, I'm guessing their whispering rumors about myself and my pirate self. I ignore and continued walking I saw Arthur walking around. "Arthur you almost ruined my plans earlier." I said walking up to him. He eyed me and started laughing "I can't believe I couldn't see it before." He said. I told him the story. "I got you something." He said. I closed my eyes and he put something on my finger. It was a ring, "wow thanks." I said admiring the beauty of the emerald  diamond ring. "Why?" I asked still looking at the diamond. "Because this just claims my territory to anyone who dares take her." He said proudly. "Thank you I guess." I said making eye contact. His green forest eyes looked like a forest I would surely get lost in them.
