English script -
The heartbeat monitor is beating in the background as Naru slowly opens her eyes and look up at the hospital’s ceiling. She is trying to remember why she was there, but her head was stinging a little as she was gathering herself up on the bed.
Naru: (grunts in pain) Ow, ow, ow. Hm? Where am I? Why-?（pause）Huh?
Then, tears started falling from her eyes when the memories that was repressed flooded back. Fades to black.
Naru: (normal tone) Most of my memory is fading. But I can remember that day completely. Wonder why. I wish I can go back [to that time]. The [time] before you disappeared.

It’s spring time. Birds are chirping and the sunlight is beaming through the windows. Naru wakes up in her room and stretches while grunting. There are sounds of shuffling as she fixes her sheets and changes. Loud footsteps follow as she heads down the stairs.
Naru: (smiles widely and says with enthusiasm) Mama, good morning! Hihi
Mother: Oh my! Good morning, Naru! You’re quite early, aren’t you? I’m [already] preparing breakfast, but what would you like to eat?
Naru: Hmm. (pause) Anything. I want to eat whatever Mama makes!
Mother: (laughs) Okay then, please wait for a bit. (pause) But for now, can you wake up your father? He’ll have to leave soon.
Naru: Okay!
Loud footsteps that slowly softens as she enters a bedroom and approaches the bed where the father lays. She climbs on top of the bed and allowed herself to lay on top of Dad.
Naru: (shouts) Papa, wake up! It’s already time [to get up]!
Father: (grunts and stretches) Okay, okay. I’m up. (yawns) You’re [quite] lively [today], aren’t you? What is Mama making?
Naru: It’s a secret. (laughs) Let’s go [Papa], let’s go! Let’s eat together! Can’t we?
Father: (laughs) Okay, okay. Then, let’s go!
Dad picks up Naru and heads downstairs. Naru giggles and reaches for her backpack and breakfast.
Mother: There, there. Naru, come here.
Mom gives a hug to Naru.
Mother: Be careful, okay? After school, let’s go shopping. Even if you already came home and I’m not home, wait for me, okay? Promise?
Naru: I promise! Well, I’m off!
Mother, Father: Have a safe trip!
The door closes. Mom and Dad look at each other, worried. Silence.
Father: (serious) Do you really have to go? What did Naru think?
Mother: As if I can tell her. (sighs) Here, you’ll have to go soon, too. After I clean, I’ll go.
