(If you are still reading, I am impressed)
When Athena arrived at Olympus, she realized that something was holding her arm. She looked down. This something was a very excited looking Robyn holding a large, square package. As Athena stood there for a moment, held in place by shock, Robyn let go of Athena's arm and stood up all the way.
"It worked," She whispered. "It worked." Suddenly her voice got louder. "It worked!"
Robyn's face broke out into a wide grin. She looked around, and her lips parted in amazement.
Robyn and Athena were standing just inside a large set of golden gates. The gates towered over Robyn and the goddess, casting a tremendous shadow across the ground. The ground consisted of a shining, gilded pavement that looked like it contained flecks of read gold, which, as Robyn thought, it probably did. The pavement stretched out before them and ended a league away from where they were standing in a colossal palace. The palace was constructed of ivory marble that was inlaid with chased silver and burnished gold. The palace was immense, with a tall, domed top. A lofty staircase lead up to the front doors.
Surrounding the palace were many lesser buildings, still grand, but all of them were overshadowed by the monumental palace.
"Zeus' palace," Robyn whispered in awe.
Then, realizing that she was gaping, shook herself out of her reverie and started walking towards the palace. The movement stirred Athena, and when she saw where Robyn was headed, ran up to her and stated, "You cannot go there. That is Zeus' palace! No mortal has have been there!"
Robyn did not cease her pace, and ignored Athena's comments. She was going to carry out her plan, and no one, not even a goddess, could distract her.
When Athena realized that Robyn wasn't listening to her, she shrieked, "You cannot go up there! You can't even be here in Olympus! You need to leave now!"
Robyn still disregarded Athena's words.
Athena, after understanding that words would not persuade Robyn to stop, she decided to use force instead. She instantly transported herself so that she was standing directly in front of Robyn. Athena grabbed ahold of Robyn's wrist.
"You need to leave here," She commanded. Robyn looked up into the goddess' eyes, and realized that she would not let Robyn pass by easily. So, Robyn shook the goddess off, and ran, clutching the square package to her chest.
Robyn sprinted as fast as she could towards the palace, leaving Athena stunned. The goddess had not expected the girl to take such an easy way out. After a few seconds of stunned silence, broken only by the sounds of Robyn's footfalls, Athena became cognizant of the fact that Robyn was not going to stop racing towards the palace.
As Robyn ran, Athena abruptly materialized in front of her. Robyn swerved so as to not run into the goddess, but kept running at a rapid pace. Athena kept appearing in front of Robyn every few seconds, but Robyn kept hurtling forwards, dodging the goddess left and right.
Finally, Robyn reached the staircase. She looked behind her to see Athena standing very still, as if deep in thought. Robyn turned back around, and started ascending the staircase.
Athena, however, knew that she could not just appear on the staircase, for if she was just a tiny bit off, she could go tumbling down the staircase. Athena was not an idiot, and therefore decided that this would not be a good idea. Even though she was an immortal goddess, it didn't mean that she couldn't feel pain, and a extensive fall down a staircase would be very painful indeed. And because of this, Athena was left with no choice but to climb the long, long staircase.
