Hola folkies! How we doing? Pretty groovy I hope.
Anyway, today we shall be chatting about the difference between cuteness,
and idiocy.
There is a very fine line between the two.And now it's time for the backstory:
There is this person at my dance studio, let's call her Kaylee, who is an idiot. She is like 9, but is unusually short for her age, so she looks like she is six. She acts like a two year old. Everyone thinks she's adorable. I don't get it.
Once, she came into one of my tech classes. I would've been fine with that if she actually worked.
Teacher: 'Kaylee, we're doing the splits now'
Kaylee: 'But it hurts.'
Teacher: 'Get into the splits'
Kaylee: 'But I can't do the splits'
Not with your attitude you won't. Okay, suck it up buttercup, you chose to come into this class with a lot of older more advanced students, so if you're in pain, just don't voice it out loud.
Okay, you might be saying that I am being insensitive. You're probably right. But, at my studio, you are expected to have your splits down, or you are working towards getting them. And, I will have you know, during this whole situation everyone else in the room is like, 'Ahhhh... She's so cute.'
What the heck is so cute about an idiot who is too lazy to work?
OH SHUT UP SIERRA FROM THE KIDS-BOP KIDS.
Sorry, I hate Pandora adds.
Anyway, all situations like this irritate me.
For instance, if I make a stupid decision, the adults in the room are like:
'Puff, you should've known better. You're almost an adult. Start acting like one.'
