CHAPTER FIFTY EIGHT
Welcome, My Beautiful Baby.

"Don't hit me for saying this," Tsunade moves back slightly to avoid abuse. "but you have to push, Kana."

"WHAT DO YOU THINK I'M DOING, HUH!?" she shouts back so angrily that a vein pops out on the side of her forehead.

"If you have enough energy to yell at me like that, you should probably put it into getting this baby out."

Kana's eyes narrow at Tsunade for her disrespectful comment.

"Lady Kana." Tsunade adds with a roll of her eyes.

Kana turns her head to the side to look at Itachi who is standing beside her. "Itachi, sweetie, when the baby girl comes out can you please shield her innocent little eyes while I break every bone in Tsunade's old body? Thank you, snookums."

After Kana proposed that Tsunade help birth her child in exchange for Raidon, they went inside the base and grabbed towels, blankets, sanitised scissors and pillows.

Labour isn't a very short process, so luckily they had a lot of time.

Kana told them that going back to the Leaf Village Hospital for the child's birth is out of the question. The baby would be taken away and Tsunade would end up in a world of hell after the elder's find out that she helped an Akatsuki member give birth.

Luckily, Kana knows a secluded place where nobody but her, Naruto and Itachi have stepped foot in and lived to tell the tale.

So here the three of them are, in Kana's hidden garden.

The mother-to-be's back is propped up by pillows, along with blankets laid out underneath. Itachi is kneeling beside her allowing the bones in his hand to be crushed, and Tsunade is assisting the birth.

"The head is out," Tsunade lifts her wrist and uses the back of her hand to swipe strands of blonde hair out of her eyes. "Do you want to see her, Itachi?" she asks and stares at him.

Itachi walks around to where Tsunade is and takes a look.

His child's head is sticking out, covered in blood, mucus and other substances.

Itachi immediately returns to Kana's side.

"Is she perfect?" Kana asks between breaths.

"Absolutely beautiful." he lies.

"Aww," Kana cooes with a smile.

Looks just like Kana after she has a sadistic killing spree... like mother like daughter, I suppose.
Itachi thinks.

"Ugh," Kana grunts at the pain.

"Hurts, doesn't it?" Tsunade teases with a smirk.

"Fuck you, Tsunade. I really will kick your ass into the ground one day." Kana pushes with all of her strength.

"Careful what you wish for, Kaze."

Kana gives a final painful push and the rest of the baby's body slides out into Tsunade's readily waiting hands. She wraps the baby into a towel and cleans her quickly.

At first, the little girl gurgles slightly before her voice builds up and she starts to cry.

The sound fills the air and makes the beautiful flower petals surrounding them quiver. Kana feels an instant pull at her heart and she starts to tear up. She still feels the bond with the baby, even though the tiny being isn't inside her anymore.

Itachi is staring in amazement. He never knew that love at first sight could exist more than once in a man's lifetime.

"Cut here, Uchiha." Tsunade passes him a pair of scissors and points to a spot on the umbilical cord. He snaps out of his daze and takes the scissors.

Cutting precisely like fine artwork, he snips it off.

He reaches forward to hold his beautiful baby in his arms when Tsunade smacks his hasty hands away. "The mother, first." she demands.

Tsunade gently places the baby in Kana's arms. "Hi, baby girl." she whispers. "I've waited a long time to meet you." she smiles down at her with pure love in her eyes.

The baby is normal size, despite the fact that she decided to make her debut a month early. What a strong little girl.

She was born with strands of fluffy black hair on her head and big chubby cheeks.

Just as Kana starts to wonder about her eye colour, the little one slowly lifts her eyelids and reveals gigantic, sky blue Namikaze eyes.

"She really is perfect." Itachi stands behind the two and looks at their precious little creation.

"Here, hold her." Kana insists with the biggest smile. Itachi gently takes the baby and cradles her in his strong arms.

She lets out a little yawn and sticks her tongue out slightly. The sight of Itachi being completely dumbfounded by the sight of his daughter makes Kana giggle.

"Have you two picked a name for her already?" Tsunade asks curiously as she takes off the gloves and wipes her hands on an extra towel.

"Well, we had a few picked out but ultimately decided that we would know her name when we saw her." Kana explains.

"Reika Uchiha." Itachi and Kana say in unison.

"Reika means beautiful flower. Just look at where she was born." he further explains and looks up at the gorgeous garden surrounding them.

"It's amazing, and so is she." Tsunade comments wholeheartedly. "Where actually are we, anyway?"

"We're in a hidden garden. Can't say which village, though." Kana sits up straight and groans at her tired and aching body.

"Luckily for you, your stupid fast healing abilities have already kicked in, and your labour was extremely short. Definitely a different case from when your mother had you." Tsunade stands up and glances around at the flowers once again in awe.

"How do you know about my birth?"

"Hm? Your mom and I were close. I was the medical nin who birthed you."
