"Why did you drag me all the way out here!?" Kana demands and stomps her foot into the ground, making trees wobble.

She is pissed off that he would even do something so uncalled for like that. If he had of asked her to go with him, she would have said yes. He didn't need to be so rough with her.

"I don't understand." he mutters. Itachi stands in front of her and holds her chin gently in his cold hand, tilting it slightly upwards so they are making eye contact.

All the anger flies right out of Kana and is replaced by nervousness blended with excitement.

"What don't you understand?" she quietly asks, scared, if not terrified to ruin the seemingly perfect moment.

"You... Me... This..." he murmurs. With each word he speaks, it makes it harder for Kana to resist smashing her wanting lips onto his. He turns around and runs his hand through the hair which framed his perfect face with his back now facing her. He takes a few large strides away from the awestruck Kana.

"Us?" Kana corrects and says the word he refused to release from his mouth. Itachi spins his head around as fast as lighting.

"When we're together... do you feel an unfamiliar sense of belonging? Do you feel happy... and complete?" she asks.

He walks back over to her and stands extremely close, so close that it makes Kana tremble with nervousness for the second time in the past few moments.

"It's not unfamiliar, Kana." he moves his face closer to hers and brushes his slightly ajar mouth across her own lustful lips. She wants to kiss him so bad. Before she has the chance to even properly think about kissing him, he instantaneously pulls his face away from hers, as if he knows what she wants to do and has to make sure not to give her an opening. "A sense of belonging, happiness and completion. If anything... it's very familiar. I had a brother, you know." he pauses and notices that she suddenly becomes tense. "Of course you know." he mutters.

"Tell me. Do you remember one of our first few encounters, Kana Namikaze?"

*FLASHBACK*

Kana is spending time with Naruto and Master Jiraiya. Pervy Sage is now busy doing some 'research' for his book while Naruto and his sister-like aunty wait impatiently for him to return, hopefully without a woman this time.

Kana has chosen to accompany Naruto and his master for some intensive training. Though, she is merely here to observe, as she doesn't quite need training herself. She came along because Kana being Kana, refuses to leave Naruto alone for too long as she is constantly worried that something bad will happen to him. He is the nine-tails vessel, after all. It truly fascinates Kana that Naruto is learning the rasengan. It is such a respected and powerful technique, yet her nephew has no idea of the honorary title it holds. Master Jiraiya was around for a lot of Kana's childhood. He played with her when she was a baby and willingly helped Minato and Kushina raise her before she disappeared on the day of the nine tails attack. Kana and Jiraiya pretend that they don't know each other, and she acts as if she is oblivious of the fact that Jiraiya is Naruto's Godfather. Its better this way. Whenever Naruto isn't around, Jiraiya tells Kana stories about her older brother's younger days and the tales he tells never fail to make her cry, smile, laugh or frown.
