A New Beginning

PREVIOUSLY ON FATAL ADDICTION: WAR ARC

Naruto takes a moment to stare in amazement at the several ninja in front of him. These calm, collected shinobi are some of the strongest to ever exist. As if having all of them at their peak on Earth at the same time was too overwhelmingly dangerous, the universe had each of them alive in different generations.

However, right now, they all stand as a united force ready to face the enemies and save the Shinobi World.

Itachi Uchiha, of the Sharingan.
Kana Namikaze, The Yellow Flash.
Minato Namikaze, Fourth Hokage.
Hiruzen Sarutobi, Third Hokage.
Tobirama Senju, Second Hokage.
Hashirama Senju, First Hokage and Founder of the Leaf.

With these newly arrived powerhouses, the odds are now seemingly in The Allied Shinobi Force's favour.

Madara drops down from the sky. His heavy weight hits the rock ledge, causing dust and rubble to scatter. He steps out from the smoke with determination and fire in his eyes.

"I've been waiting for you, Hashirama!" he exclaims, shouting down at the group with vigour.

Kana's sharp blue eyes dart up to view Madara. His visible injuries are minimal, even after his battle with the Five Kage. He's crazy. This is crazy. Such indestructibility far exceeds any one ninja's ability to counter. What now? He's too powerful.

Kana, Itachi, Naruto, the Kage and the remaining shinobi alliance members must battle against the almost-mythical Ten Tails, Obito Uchiha and the glory-days Madara.

"I'll deal with you later!" Hashirama assertively points his index finger directly at Madara, almost as if telling a dog to sit and stay.

Madara's determined expression falters. He then darts his attention across to his former student, Kana, who stands alongside the Hokage and her husband.

Madara grows excited once more as he shouts, "Kana! My precious student! I'm sure you are itching to fight me, aren't you!? Come here and-"

"I'll play with you later, Sensei. I'm busy right now." she flicks her wrist in his general direction dismissively. Hashirama Senju subtly watches Kana, her nonchalant response to his rival drawing his immediate attention. He observes her, from her physical appearance to her internal chakra network to her aura.

Madara Uchiha blinks rapidly at the audacity of both his lifelong rival, Hashirama and his own student, Kana.

"Ah, you must be Itachi and Kana." Hashirama speaks calmly.

The pair simultaneously turn and bow their heads at the legendary First Hokage.

"Sasuke mentioned you both." he adds.

Kana and Itachi glance at each other, then avert their stare back to Hashirama. "Sasuke? When did you speak to Sasuke? And, pardon my abruptness Lord First, but... how are you here right now?" she realises that Kabuto's Reanimation Jutsu has ended, so how are they still standing here?

"Orochimaru summoned us because Sasuke desired answers to his questions. He has ultimately chosen to fight for the Leaf, because he didn't want the Village and people that Itachi had sacrificed everything for to be destroyed. He was confused and lost when you told him the truth... but he was able to somewhat understand after hearing our answers. Sasuke realised his dear elder brother did what he had to do for the village." Hiruzen explains everything.
