Kana stands before Pain with her arms crossed over her chest, beside Itachi who holds zero trace of emotion on his face.

"Yes, Leader?" she speaks with an attitude.

"Kana. Itachi. Your next mission is to interrogate a man, a man who has a lot of information on our next jinchuriki target." Pain explains and slides a file across the table. Kana picks it up and takes a look at the image of the man. He is fat and stubby and is at least two heads shorter than her. The documents outline that he is a money craving, whore hungry bastard who has his eyes set on sex and being rich. His money and power brings him a great deal of security. Bodyguards are sure to be keeping watch over him.

"Pathetic." she mutters in regards to the soulless man and shuts the file, sliding it back to Leader after Itachi examines the pages over her shoulder.

"Get it done." Leader growls and motions for her and Itachi to get out in one swift motion to the door.

They walk out together, but not without Itachi grabbing her arm and looking into her blue eyes.

"What's wrong with you?" he questions. She rips her arm out of his strong grasp and storms away.

Kana is pissed at Itachi, she is pissed at him for making her feel the way she does and having him not act on it. She wants more, but because of this stupid bet about who will fall in love with the other first, she is forcing herself not to get too attached... not to get too close.

Her body literally craves his touch and his voice and without his lips on hers, well, she is feeling somewhat angry. She's definitely too embarrassed to admit this to Itachi so she makes a point in avoiding unnecessary contact.

Kana is not going to lose this damn bet.

"Hurry up, Kana." Itachi politely says from in front of her.

"I'm going as fast as I can, Itachi." she replies with a huff and scurries to catch up to him.

"We're here." he abruptly stops in his tracks, causing Kana to slam into his back and almost fall backwards. With an annoyed expression, she rubs her nose and steps out from behind her partner to see a small village, so small it is undoubtedly not on any map. It would take an hour to walk around the whole place, but somehow the small village is crammed with stores, shops and buildings of all kind.

"There." Kana points to a restaurant that the old, fat, short man stumbles into. "How are we going to do this?" she questions. Itachi looks at her, then back at the man.

"Come," he orders and walks to a small cottage, where they presumably are going to stay.

"Room for two, please." Itachi speaks to the dark haired lady who owns the place. She nods with a smile, takes the money and leads them to their room. It is small and cozy, with two mattresses on the floor.

"Go buy something nice." Itachi says and places money in Kana's palm.

"I could get used to this." Kana giggles, completely forgetting that she was originally mad at him. She can't seem to stay angry at one of the few people that have the ability to make her happy.

Itachi shakes his head.

"I mean a dress. Lure him out, seduce him, so his bodyguards can't follow. Pretend to be one of the girls he would go for. At least try." he explains his plan emotionlessly.
