CHAPTER NINTY THREE
Expect The Unexpected
_________________________PREVIOUSLY ON FATAL ADDICTION: WAR ARC
Kakuzu and Kisame arrive onto the scene.
"Sage mode... so Madara Uchiha really is as powerful as they say." Kisame glances from Kana to Madara. "We felt you fighting and thought to come help, Kana." Kisame explains. Kakuzu nods in agreement to this.
"I'm so glad you two are okay." she sighs in relief at the sight of her friends. "Have you heard any word from Itachi? At all?" she asks with hope in her eyes.
She refuses to admit it out loud, but she's worried. Her faith in Itachi's abilities is tremendous, but Kabuto's strength is currently unknown. He's a completely different person... one that has enough chakra to summon the dead and manipulate them.
Both her comrades shake their heads, signalling that they hadn't heard anything from Itachi.
"We thought he was with you." Kisame responds with slight confusion.
"He was, but he decided to go take out Kabuto on his own to end the reanimation jutsu. I thought he may have finished and crossed paths with you, but..." she pauses and frowns slightly, "It doesn't matter, I'm sure he's fine." she tries to convince herself, more than them. "Sage Mode has a time limit, so let's do this quickly."
Kana turns back around to face Madara. His facial expression portrays his impatience.
"Let's go." Kana hits her fist into her palm. Kakuzu and Kisame stand on either side of her and prepare to battle.

"Two little friends won't help you at all, my dear student." Madara confidently declares. The blue radiation from his Susano'o tints the battlefield and almost makes Kana shield her eyes.
Madara is clearly wary of her, and she can tell. He knows firsthand of Kana's exceptional abilities. The legendary father of Uchiha raised two children, Obito and Kana, into ultimate fighting machines with the intention of utilising them to take over the shinobi world one day. Little did he know that one of his two students would turn against him and throw everything he taught her, right back into his face at tenfold.
Madara starts to think of ways he can end this battle before it becomes one of stamina and Kana gains the upper hand. She's always had more energy than an average shinobi. However, Madara can tell that at this point her strength is steadily decreasing, little by little... even though she refuses to show it.
Kana's surprisingly teasing voice makes Madara narrow his eyes. "But, Sensei... who said I only had two little friends?" she flashes a smirk.
The moment those words leave Kana's mouth, Naruto's powerful Rasen-Shuriken slams into the back of Madara's Susano'o shield.
Madara, along with his ultimate armour, are stunned from the tremendous power of Naruto's jutsu. The loud cracking noise of his Susano'o makes Kana grin. It worked.
Naruto disappears, leaving behind a bright flash of yellow identical to that of Kana's flashing. He then reappears beside his aunty.
"Nice work." she praises as the two smack their palms together for a celebratory high five.
Kisame stares at Naruto with a clearly confused expression. He begins to ask, "Since when could you-"
"Naruto can't flash... but I gained some new tricks while training for the war." she winks playfully at the confused Kisame.
