CHAPTER NINTY ONE
Arc: A Stolen Life III

Kakuzu sits atop the destroyed cabin with one knee bent up and his arm nonchalantly slung over it.
He calmly stares ahead as a tall, lean, light blue haired man walks toward him. The man slowly approaching has a scar from the top centre of his forehead, running across his eye, and finishing at his jawline. The left eye with the scar over it remains shut. He gives off the 'big boss' vibe. If he really is the boss, then he is much younger than expected.
One thing is certain from his appearance, though; this man's open dark blue eye, is undeniably evil.
"Hm? My, my, my. What a mess." he hums in surprise as he approaches to stand in front of Kakuzu and the demolished cabin. His eyes scan over to the bodies of his hired capture unit clumped into a lifeless pile at the side.
"You're the boss? The useless group of ninja you assembled were reluctant to tell me your location. Costumer service is undoubtedly your priority." Kakzuzu monotonously says with narrowed eyes.
Blue boy glances around at the chaotic area in unexpected amazement. "Wah, I see! This is the first time all of them have been taken out at once." he gazes at Kakuzu with intrigue. "A pleasure to meet you. I'm Tatsuo, and you are..."
"Kakuzu, of the Akatsuki. I want Mr. Atsushi."
Tatsuo raises an eyebrow. "Mr. Atsushi is one of the most expensive I own." he states as if the humans he keeps captive aren't human at all, rather, just potential bags of cash.
"Lead me there." Kakuzu demands, clearly not taking no for an answer as he jumps off the cabin and strides towards Tatsuo.
Tatsuo submissively nods once. "It's always wonderful to have a new customer." he makes conversation as the two walk side by side deep into the woods, "Would you be interested in working for me? Being able to defeat my whole team is quite impressive." he offers.
As the two speak, Kana trails behind silently. The quiet sounds emitting from her movements seemingly blend in with nature's noises. Her chakra is concealed and her scent remains unnoticed. It's as if she doesn't even exist as she slowly moves from tree to tree over their heads.
Kana climbs carefully while eavesdropping.
"I am already part of an organisation." Kakuzu replies to his question.
Tatsuo's light blue hair sways as he turns to look at Kakuzu. "I could pay you more." his convincing technique happens to be far too perfect for the man he is speaking to. Tatsuo's statement instantly catches Kakuzu's attention.
Kana narrows her eyes down at her partner walking beneath her.
If he says yes, I swear to God... she thinks with annoyance bubbling inside her.
"Hm. There is a stupid brat in my current organisation, and if I wasn't around, she would probably die. So, I'll pass on your offer."
Kana deadpans.
He knows I can't say anything unless I want to get caught. Fuck you, Kakuzu. You sly bastard.
Remaining silent, Kana follows the two until they reach an underground entrance hidden by bush and tree. Tatsuo turns around and cautiously scans over the area behind them.
"What is it?" Kakuzu asks aggressively as his patience begins to run low.
Tatsuo turns back around with a relaxed, closed eye smile. "Nothing. Just making sure nobody sees us entering."
