As I run through the sea of people, dodging people and finally reaching my destination. Kuro yelped and gave out a sigh. "KKKUUURRROOOOO!" I greeted as i hug him from behind. "I missed you too Shiro" He chuckled lightly and turned around to face me. "Oh and before anything else" I reached inside my jacket to grab a paper bag and gave it to him. "Happy super advance birthday dumbass" I giggled abit as he took the bag from my hand. "You know you didn't have to right ?" he said as he grab the contents out of the bag. 

It was a matching locket and key but the key was a keychain. "How much was all this ?" He asked as he admired his gift. "It doesn't matter no-" He cut me off. "119 EACH ?!" He yelled. I gave him my poker face. "I used my own money, it was my summer allowance and well i didn't want to waste the opportunity on buying you a gift and also before you cut me off again, there's still one item in the bag that you almost forgot" I explained. 

He put the things aside and grabbed a piece of folded paper. I wait in anticipation as he opened it. His eyes went wide and then softened, his lips curled into that cute smile of his. "Really ?" He laughed a bit and showed me the drawing that i made of us. Me hugging him from behind while he complained. "What about it ?" I asked in confusion. "It's great, all of it" He said as he put back the stuff in the bag. "Thank you" He said and gave me a hug. My cheeks heated up and hugged him back. "Welcome " I said with a smile on my face. 

"SHIRO !" I heard someone scream my name as i turn around I was face to face with my best guy friend, Alex, he envelop me in a bear hug. "Let me breath asshole !" I manage to say. He chuckled and let me go. "It's been a while " He said as he draped his arm around me. "Um hey we can hang later, I-" he cut me off. "Ya know, I was wondering where you were and Aria is worried about you..." As his voice faded, I looked back at Kuro and he was already busy talking with Her. I sighed and just went with Alex.

Lunch came around and I eagerly wait for Shiro to come down and jam with me again. I missed the two of us hanging out and bantering nonsense. "And i burned his ass to the ground" Her loud voice filled the air and there she was, in all her glory with her friend. I tried my best not to look irritated . "I'll chat you later alright but i need to go" She said to him as he pouted his lips. "eeehh but Shiroo" he whined. I rolled my eyes at his annoyance. "bye boi" She said as she skipped my way. 

I greeted her with a nod. "So what song are we-" She was cut off by a pair of hands around my eyes . "Guess who" the voice said. I chuckled. "Monika ?" I guessed and her hands were off my face. "Yup !" She said as she hugged me. I look at Shiro who was looking at us with an indescribable emotion. "Oh um Shiro, i forgot to tell you"

"Me and Monika are together" He said and I swear I heard my heart shatter inside my chest. I put my best smile on. "Congrats ! Im happy for you guys" I said as I looked at Monika, She was wearing the locket that i gave him. "Oh on second thought Im needed by my friends" I said as I stood up. "W-wait what ? I thought you didn't have anything to do" He said in disbelief. "I just remembered Aria and Jake are having issues again and they asked me to fix it cuz they can't even know how to fix it themselves" I shook my head and hoped he wouldn't buy it, hoping he would beg me to stay, begged me to be by his side

"Oh alright then but maybe later dismissal we can hang ?" He asked and I just nodded and dashed off. 

As the day passed by before i knew it, It was dismissal. "Shiro !" Kuro waved at our usual spot which was in the parking lot of the school and there was Monika, right beside him, clinging onto his arm as he plays. 'that should be me' my thoughts roared and i shake it all away as I approach them. "I only have time for one song alright" I wanted this to end fast. "aww alright alright" He said. "What song would like ?" He turned to Monika. "Hmm how about Can't help falling in love ? " She said, my heart clenched. That was my song for him. "Ohhh our song" He stated and my heart shattered again, it was their song !. "You okay with it Shiro ?" Monika looked at me and i smiled and nodded. 

Kuro started strumming and I started to sing and then Monika joined in, I stopped singing midway and heared Kuro sing. For the first time in my whole life, I heard him sing but for a different person. I just smiled and lip synced instead. As soon as Kuro stopped strumming, Monika clapped and so did I then I quickly grab my bag and prepared my phone and earphones. "ML later ? " He asked and I just nodded and waved goodbye as I plug in my earphones. 

The song called "Flower" by Seventeen came up as I look at everything around me, the sky darkened and i heard the words.
