Monster Among Men

I scavenged my way through the large crowd in the cafeteria to get to my destination. I bumped into a few people here and there until I get to the clearing as I sprint towards him. "Kurrooooochii" I swooned as I tapped his shoulder. He turned around and gave me his famous smile. "Oh hey Shiro" He said. "Before I forget, give me your hand" He gave out his hand. I looked down on his hand then back up to his face. "Why" I asked, my cheeks heating up. He gave me his 'Just do it' look. I heave a sigh and gave him my hand. "Now close your eyes" I did as I was told. I felt something cold and metal land on my hand. "Open" I looked down on what he gave me and it was the matching keychain to his locket. 

"Aww thanks" I said as I admired the key then he grabbed my hand and kissed it. He looked at me with a huge smirk on his face. My cheeks were over heating. "No problem cutie" He said. I smacked him lightly. "Don't do that !" I screeched and he just laughed. "Shiro, there you are" I felt a hand grab my arm and I yelped, I turned around and saw Sora, the new guy who wanted to hangout with me, "Sora, you almost scared the shit out of me" I sighed. "Sorry but I was looking for you" He whined, giving me his sad puppy dog eyes. I looked at Kuro and his face read "annoyed" all over. "I told you guys that i'll catch up with you" I looked back at him and he was looking at Kuro.

I looked at both of them and they were glaring at each other. "Let's go Shiro" Sora dragged me away from Kuro but before I can even get away from him. Kuro grabbed my other arm. "I wasn't finished talking to her" Kuro sneered as he pulled me towards him. "I said let's go Shiro" Sora sneered as well and pulled me towards him. "Guys stop it !" I said and got out both of their grasps. They both open their mouths to say something but I put my hands up infront of them to prevent a fight. "I'll talk to you later Kuro" I said to him as I stormed off with Sora glaring at Kuro and running to catch up with me.

As the day ended. I met up with Sora before I went home. "Hey, can i ask you a question ?" He asked. "Yeah sure, what about ?" I asked, listening intently. "Are you free this weekend ?" He was so nervous, it was kinda cute. "Maybe, I'll just tell you, alright ?" I said and patted his back. "Alright then, hey i gotta go, better catch the service" He said and ran off. I chuckled and shake my head. "Shiro" I screeched again and slapped the nearest person to me. "KURO YOU PIECE OF SHIT DONT DO THAT !" I yelled at his face. "Sorry sorry, what did that idiot say to you ?" He asked. "Idiot ?" I tilted my head in confusion, 'who the hell is he talking about ?' i thought

"That Sora guy" He said, plain and simple. "Well, he asked me if i was free this weekend and i said maybe" I explained and his expression changed, i felt him get cold, like scary. "Tell him you're gonna be busy" His voice was stern, almost commanding. "What ? Why ?" I asked further, the hell is going on with him ?. "Just do it" He gripped my arm, tightly. "K-kuro, that hurts" I winced. He really was strong, it felt like he was gonna break my wrist in a matter of minutes. He looked at me and let go. 

"I-i'm sorry" He said, backing away from me a bit. "It's alright" I looked at my wrist and it was red. "I hope i didn't hurt you that much" He took my arm and examined it. "It's fine" I said and retrieved my arm. "I'll be going home now" I said as I headed off. I heard Kuro say goodbye behind me as I reached the school gate.
