"Have you had the opportunity to acquaint yourself with your clansmen who just moved up? No doubt you must be glad to see them."

At a rare dinner with both Tajima and Madara present one night, [Name] looked up from her food at Tajima's question, slightly surprised by his words.

"Huh? They're here?"

"Of course," chuckled Madara, amused by the stunned look on [Name]'s face. "Many of them are here in preparation for our wedding. I'm afraid your mother and father won't be able to make it in time for the celebrations this time around, but don't worry too much about it. Any clan member is a good clan member to celebrate with, right?"

"Oh. Yay." [Name]'s voice was flat as she returned to eating, making Madara sigh.

"Madara, have you even told [Name] about when the wedding will be?" asked Tajima, raising an eyebrow at his son. "We haven't discussed a thing with the poor girl since she moved in here. It's nearly been three weeks, surely you ought to have updated her by now."

"My apologies," said Madara gracefully, bowing his head at his father. "I've been so busy with preparations I haven't even been able to see [Name] these days."

"Don't think too much about it," shrugged [Name], quite content with not having to see Madara that often. Due to him always being out and about, he was rarely home when [Name] arrived, often returning home once she had called it a night. Although she lowkey timed her dinner, baths, and bedtime specifically so that she could avoid the Uchiha, she knew that her time was running short. Once the wedding was done and dusted, it was goodbye solitary nights, and hello awkward room sharing with Madara.

"Your uncle and I have agreed to set the wedding for next week," said Madara kindly, smiling at his bride to be. "But, of course, before that day comes, I need to discuss some things with you.

"First of all, your duties as a kunoichi. Once we are married, you will no longer be in charge of teaching the children from the seven to thirteen year old age bracket. We will be replacing you with another shinobi, and you will be teaching the very young children alongside Shisui. So, that means you'll be focusing on teaching them more theory based activities and chakra control, rather than any type of jutsu. On top of that, you will be forbidden from attending battles. Your role as a kunoichi will be strictly limited to non-physical activities, and all of this is for the purpose of ensuring that you're at your tip top physical peak for when the time to bear children arrives."

Looking at [Name] intensely as he waited for his words to sink in, Madara asked the sullen female, "Do you understand?"

"It's not like I have a choice, do I?" mumbled [Name] disdainfully, picking away at her rice. With a broad grin, Madara sat up straight and continued.

"Next up, I would like to talk about your visits to Sazae. I am aware that while married to Sasuke, you took it upon yourself to retrieve a certain contraceptive medicine from her. When was the last time you visited her for your prescribed monthly dose?"

"Um... last week, Madara-sama."

"Consider that your final dose. You know what is expected of you from this marriage, and I do not wish to waste any time. And even if you do attempt to visit her against my wishes, she will reject you immediately. Understood?"

Wincing at the sharpness in Madara's voice, [Name] nodded nevertheless.

"Yes, Madara-sama," responded the Kouhage through gritted teeth.

Noticing how [Name] had tensed up, Madara leaned forward and reached out across the table, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder as he shot her a small smile.
