"Oh dear. You're quite cute- what's your name?"

Following another sudden convention between Madara and Hashirama due to the Uzumaki's departure being delayed by the sickness of two of their clan members, Shisui found little difficulty in finding a way into the clan leader's home. However, as he scoped out the seemingly quiet home, he stumbled upon a woman clutching a dormant Sayuri to her chest staring at him in horror as they came face to face in the corridor.

"Sh-Shisui-sama?!"

The woman's face was contorted as she looked unsure of whether or not the Uchiha was allowed in Madara's home, and cautiously backed into the room she had just emerged from.

"There's no need to be afraid," insisted Shisui breezily, waving his hand as he followed the midwife into the room. "I'm just here to speak to [Name]-chan."

As he followed the midwife in, Shisui shut the door behind himself as he grinned at the sight of [Name] on the floor, folding the laundry. She paused mid-action to look up and gawp at the higher up's sudden appearance, a bewildered look on her face as the midwife looked fearfully between the two.

"Shisui- what are you doing here?!" asked the bemused Kouhage, finishing folding the sheet in her hands and looking warily at the Uchiha as he sat in front of her with a bright smile.

"I need to talk to you," he said happily, leaning forward in his seat. "In private, please."

Nodding slowly, [Name] looked up at her midwife and said, "Wait in the living room."

"Yes, [Name]-sama."

The midwife bowed and exited the room, leaving [Name] alone to speak with Shisui.

"You're lucky Madara isn't here," said [Name] with a frown, picking up the next item of laundry to fold. "He had to go and speak to Hashirama-sama and Tobirama-sama to say that we are okay with the Uzumaki extending their stay."

"Well, since we are all at peace with each other, I'm sure the Senju want to tread carefully around us," nodded Shisui, chewing on his tongue as he grabbed a garment from [Name]'s pile and began folding with her. "By the way, who is your new midwife? I don't believe I've seen her around before."

"Huh? Oh, that's Kagura. I don't think you would've seen her around much, considering you wouldn't have had any reason to. She's been a trainee midwife for a while now, working under Hiroko. Don't mind her, though. She's rather nervous about looking after Sayuri, since she's only just graduated. Madara didn't help much either- the list of expectations he ran her through on her first day was horrendously long. God knows how specific he is when it comes to looking after Sayuri."

"Kagura, you say? What a beautiful name."

"Aside from my midwife, what did you come to talk to me about?" asked [Name] warily, not knowing whether or not Shisui was visiting out of his own free will, or whether he was a part of the elaborate ruse to break her out of her prison.

"I'm here to help you," smiled the Uchiha, setting aside his folded yukata and reaching for another blanket to fold. "I'm here to fill you in on the plan Naruto and Sasuke have curated. Are you ready?"

Interest piqued, [Name] sat up straight.

"Wait- why are you helping?" asked [Name] suspiciously, eyeing out Shisui as he folded her blanket.

"Well, it'd be rather rude of me to just sit here and watch you fold all this laundry by yourself," replied the Uchiha courteously, making [Name] roll her eyes.

"Very funny," said [Name] dryly. "How did you come to know of all this?"

"Well, Sasuke and Naruto aren't very inconspicuous when it comes to speaking about you. That, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get involved. I love the thrill of it all. Your situation is big! Melodramatic! Possibly life-threatening to us for disrespecting Madara by helping his wife run away! But it's only life-threatening if he finds out we helped you! I'm not sure why they're planning to get you out of here, but since it's something you want to do, I have no reason to doubt their motives. You're one of my good friends, [Name]. And if you want to do this, then I want to help you. If there's something that you've proven to me, it's that you always have a good reason for wanting to do everything you do."
