I thought I could handle the pain from being apart from you, but I can't...

“YES! CHRISTMAS BREAK!” – Louis shouted as soon as we gathered in the parking lot.

“Why are you so excited ?” – Zayn put his backpack on the ground and leaned against his bike.

“BECAUSE we’re gonna have a few weeks off this mess.” – He gestured to the several buildings.

“It’s not so bad if you ask me.” – Zayn took a cigarette out of his jeans pocket and lit it.

“Speak for yourself.” – I murmured.

“I agree with Harry. Things without Drea aren’t the same.”

“I didn’t say that!”

“It was implied.” – Louis rolled his eyes.

“It’s not my fault I am interested in someone.” – Zayn shrugged.

“Yes it is.” – Louis and I spoke at the same time.

“Don’t invite me for the wedding, you know I won’t show up if you do.” – I picked up my backpack from the ground.

“Don’t be mean, I’m sure she is sorry.”

“She ruined everything between Emily and I, and she tried to ruin things between Drea and I, so please don’t try to make me like her because I won’t.”

“Dude, Emily died Louise didn’t have anything to do with it. And you and Drea had bigger problems than her.”

I rolled my eyes. – “Emily is dead because your precious little girlfriend decided it would be cool to hook her friend up with you while she was dating me.

“Whatever. I forgave her and so should you. I’m sure if Drea was here, she would-“ – I cut him off.

“No, she wouldn’t. I know Drea better than you, she will never forgive Louise. And please stop referring to her as if she was dead because she is not!” – My voice rose with every word.

“Harry, calm down. There is no need to stress about this. Zayn was just trying to make you go easier on Louise.”

“I won’t ever go easier on that girl. It’s hard to forget about something so big and awful you know?”

“Yeah, I get it. Well!” – Louis clapped his hands. – “Changing the subject: at what time should we be ready ?”

“For what?” – Zayn raised an eyebrow.

“You didn’t tell him?!” – Louis snapped at me.

“I forgot. Sorry.” – I shrugged. – “My mum is going to London tonight and she asked me if I wanted to go. She even said I could bring you guys.” – I narrowed my eyes at Zayn. – “No girls allowed.”

“Fine, I’ll go. How long are we staying?”

“Just for the weekend. Mum is visiting Fatima and I want to go out a bit.”

“You mean, see if Drea came back.” – Louis lit a cigarette as well.

“No. I’m looking for law firms actually. I need to start an internship as soon as possible.”

“In London?! Which is like 3h/4h away? You’re insane.”

“Who runs by choice never stops, my dear friend. Be ready at 9.”
