Gai and I went back tot he Leaf Village, with Sasuke on my back, so that we can get him to a hospital.
Gai has also told me that Kakashi was in the hospital as well because he got into a fight with Itachi Uchiha. Like he's in a genjutsu, or he passed out from one.
After I got Sasuke checked into the hospital, I went to go check on Kakashi. Maybe I can do something to help. It'll help me push aside my emotions for Naruto.
That monster he saw back in the other village was something I haven't turned into for many years. I think the only time I did that was when Father was around.
I walk into the room Kakashi is in and see him lying on the hospital bedroom, out like a light.
I sit by the hospital bed and look at Kakashi, as if I were glaring at him. But really, I'm examining his body to see if he has any injures. Yet, it he doesn't seem to have any. His body is fine.
"Like I told you, Itachi used some sort of genjutsu on him and Kakashi hasn't woken up since the fight." Gai had walked into the room, leaning against the wall.
"That name again. Itachi Uchiha. . . What can you tell me about him? I want to help the best I can." I look at Gai.
He gives me a concerned look before he tells me the story about Sasuke's older brother, Itachi Uchiha.
"Itachi use to be in the ANBU squad, with Kakashi, at a young age. He was successful, and well known by everyone. He was the most skilled ninja this village has ever known. But, one night he slaughtered the entire Uchiha clan. However, he left Sasuke alive."
"Was there a reason why Itachi killed his entire clan, and leaving his little brother alive?" I ask.
"There was no story behind his reasons. What we do know is that he's in an organization, known as The Akatsuki, to capture tailed beasts."
"I see. Well, Jiraiya and Naruto went off somewhere for special training. I'm sure they'll come back with something that might be useful. All we have to do is wait and fix things up here in the Leaf Village."
I leave the room and use the Transportation Jutsu to go check on Yagura and Kokuo. But that wasn't the only reason why I came here.
I just wanted to get my mind off things.
"Greetings, Lady Akari." Kokuo bows, seeing me appear out of nowhere.
"Back so soon? What's the occasion?" Yagura smiles at me.
"I just needed a place to clear my head, and also, I want to speak with Kokuo alone."
"No problem." Yagura walks away to give me and Kokuo some privacy to talk. Once he's gone, Kokuo turns to me and asks,
"Is everything alright?"
"No." I shake my head. "Years ago. . . Do you remember what I use to look like? That form that I try to keep under control in case of emergencies?" I sit on the ground and hug my knees. "I showed that side today when I was protecting the host of Kurama.
You should have seen the look on the host's face. He was so terrified, and his body was frozen. I don't know what he's thinking right now, yet it's my job to make sure they are safe and still look up to me, so they can trust me."
"But it wasn't your fault. The host of Kurama was in danger, and you did what you had to do to protect them both." Kokuo lowers his head to me.
"But the host is afraid of me now. . . I don't like to bringing fear into the hearts of those who I must protect. I don't even know how to explain that side of me to him."
