"I want to learn about your curse mark, Sasuke." I lean close to the boy's face while telling him this.
"My curse mark? Why?" Sasuke raises an eyebrow.
"You're not able to control the power of that curse mark yet. Whoever gave you that mark really wants you for something. They picked you for a reason. If you work with me, I can train you and make you become a strong shinobi. Maybe as strong as Naruto."
"I know how control the thing. I don't need-"
"What I'm telling you is that I want to learn about your mark, and if I can understand how it works, I will be able to train you and have control. Who knows, you might be strong enough to defeat your brother. The choice is yours, Sasuke." I lean back right when Naruto and Sakura enter the room to check on their teammate.
When Sasuke looks at Naruto, he goes back to his sulking, and glaring, mode because of what happened in the Land of Tea. Tsunade told me all about it.
"Oh. Hey, Akari. Are you here to check on Sasuke too?" Naruto smiles at me.
"I am." I nod my head.
I look back at Sasuke, trying to figure out what he's thinking, other than the fact that Naruto was able to complete the mission. I want to know if we have a deal about my offering.
If I can learn about the curse mark, then I might be able to control Sasuke. That way, I can train Sasuke, and so I can get closer to the Akatsuki. I get the feeling that Orochimaru has something to do with them.
After all, he uses people as his little test subjects after giving them a curse mark, then takes advantage of them by training them to become strong until he waits for the final moment to take over their bodies as a vessel.
So disturbing.
"What's going on!?" Naruto suddenly shouts as he picks himself off the floor. I look over to my left and see a smashed plate and apples scattered everywhere.
"Sasuke, what's wrong with you?" Sakura looks at Sasuke with a frightened look.
Sasuke glares at Naruto and orders him to fight him. Why am I not surprised? A boy who holds such a long grudge against his older brother, would obviously hold a grudge against someone who is stronger than him.
And that person is Naruto. I swear, Sasuke is either a crybaby, or a spoiled sport. I can't do anything about it if Naruto agrees to fight Sasuke. However, I will have to step in and stop the fight if things get too riled up. I can't spoil Naruto too much. He has to grow up on his own sometime.
"Perfect timing. I've been itching to fight you, Sasuke." Naruto smirks at him. And that says it all. Means, I can't interfere in this fight. It's Naruto's choice.
"Then meet me on the roof if you think you're so tough." Sasuke scoffs and leaves the hospital room. Naruto follows him, leaving Sakura and I in the room.
"Akari, do something! I don't think it's a good idea to fight! Sasuke was just treated by Lady Tsunade and-"
"There's nothing I can do about it. If they want to fight, then so be it. It's their decision. Therefore, I cannot interfere. They have to work it out." I cut off Sakura hile watching the two boys leave.
"But they're going to get hurt!"
"If that happens, then I will put a stop to it. But for now, all we can do is sit back and watch. Let's go." I go after the boys and head up to the roof.
The fight begins and Sakura and I watch these two go at it like enemies. They are both equally strong and they are both giving it their all. But it won't last long.
