Caretaker Of Jinchuriki's [Naruto]

{51} Taking In Killer Bee & Gyuki, Tell Him The Truth

I gave myself time to calm down after the fight I had with Sasuke. I'm in thr sacred place where I kept all host and Jinchuriki.

This was the first time I had to fight with someome that I cared about. I didn't know it would bring me so much heartache. Emotions are so troublesome. . .

"What is the matter, Lady Akari?" Saiken asks me.

"It is nothing, Saiken. Do not worry about it. I only came here to check on everyone while getting my mind off things." I reply.

"Like what?" Yagura kneels beside me with a reassuring smile. "I never seen you this upset before. Did something happen?" 

"Yes." I nod. "It is about Sasuke. . . He has betrayed me. . . I knew taking pity on him was a mistake. I should have known that something like this will happen." 

"What do you mean? What did he do?" 

"He has join the Akatsuki and he will be going after Killer Bee and Gyuki. I never thought he would join forces with the enemy." 

"What did I tell you? Uchiha's are trouble. This is a perfect time to tell you that I told you so." Yagura grins while placing both hands on his hips.  

"I should have told you the same thing when you were fighting with the Akatsuki when I first met you. Wasting your chakra all in one move leaves you at a disadvantage." I smile, feeling a little bit better. 

"Ah! I thought I could handle it! Hard to believe you remember that." Yagura rubs the back of his neck while chuckling. 

"I remember everything." I giggle. "This made me feel a little better. Thank you. Continue to watch over the others while I am away. How is Utakata and Saiken?" 

"Utakata isn't much of a talker and Saiken is getting along with the tailed beasts. Son Goku and Roshi are still exploring the place. They like it here though." 

"That is good to hear. It is better than being out in the open where the Akatsuki can capture them and seal them away. Although, they have fallen. All that leaves is the man in the mask, Kisame, and now Sasuke, and his team. It will not be long until they are all done for. Once that is done, all of you can return to your lives, living freely." 

"We really appreciate what you've done for us, Akari. How can we ever repay you?" Yagura smiles. 

"No need to thank me. This is my duty after all. As Caretaker, I do not mind hard labor. This is my joy." I smile and summon my scythe. "I must be going now. Continue to watch over this place while I am gone." 

"Will do. Take care, Akari." Yagura waves goodbye and I leave his sight. 

I appear at the entrance of the Hidden Cloud Village because I am here to collect Killer Bee and Gyuki. However, taking him to where the other tailed beasts are is not my intentions. I plan on taking him to the leaf village so that him and Naruto can work together. 

The Akatsuki may have fallen, but there is going to be a lot of trouble now that Sasuke is in the Akatsuki. The Uchiha boy means nothing to me now. He is no longer in my heart. 

The Raikage does not know that I am hear, but I will have to let him know about my intentions for his little brother. 

Sensing Gyuki's chakra, him and Killer Bee are in a shrine up in the mountains. If I am lucky, Killer Bee will not attack me. 

Walking up the stairs, I enter inside the shrine and see tails all over the place. Gyuki's tails to be exact. "Who dares to enter into my home?" Killer Bee's voice echoes throughout the shrine. He sounds like he is trying to rap. 

"My name is Akari. I am not here to harm you." I reply to him. 

"Then, why are you here?" 

"To warn you. I am aware that you have the 8 tails, Gyuki, sealed within you. You have tamed him well enough to control the tailed beasts chakra. If you come with you, you will not be taken away from your village." 

"Who will try to take me? I am the unstoppable Killer Bee!" 

"An organization known as the Akatsuki knows about your Jinchuriki, and will come here to capture you. But, I doubt they stand a chance against you. If you wish to stay and fight then, by my guest. Or, you can come with you where you are safe." 

"I won't let a bunch of rookies kidnap the one and only Killer Bee!" 

"And what is your answer, Gyuki?" I ask the Jinchuriki behind Killer Bee as we enter his mind. 

"I know about the Akatsuki and heard what they have done. I prefer going with Lady Akari for our own safety." Gyuki speaks. 

"If you wish, you can leave a substitution to fight the Akatsuki. If you do end up getting captured, the substitution will go away during the sealing. The choice is yours." 

"We accept." Gyuki answers for both him and Killer Bee. 

"Good answer. Come with me." We exit out of Killer Bee's mind and back into our physical bodies. 

We exit it out of the village, leaving a substitution behind and going to the leaf village. Once I return, I leave Killer Bee in the hands of Tsunade. So much traveling has exhausted me. . . The only place I can rest is in the training grounds, near the KIA stone. 

So that's where I go. I sit near the stone and hug my knees close to my chest, and close my eyes to rest."You came back sooner than I expected." Itachi is beside me, wearing a shinobi vest. 

"You are wearing a leaf shinobi vest. That means you are a full jounin and apart of the leaf village again." I stand up. 

"Lady Hokage and I worked things out." 

"So soon. I am glad." I tiredly smile at him. "Now that I have you here, there is something I need to tell you that involves your little brother." 

"What's wrong? What happened to Sasuke?" Itachi gives me a worried expression. 

"Itachi. . . You need to tell him the truth. He has joined the Akatsuki." 

"What?!" 

"You need to tell him the truth, Itachi. I cannot talk him out of it. He has already made his decision and he is on his way to capture Killer Bee. That is why I brought him here. Killer Bee and I left a substitution behind." 

"It's not going to be easy, Akari. If Sasuke has already made his decision, then he will not listen to anyone. Not even me, I think." 

"He might because you are his brother. He does not know that you are still alive. He does not know that I brought you back to life. Even if he doesn't understand, he will know the truth. It might make him change his mind." 

"I don't know. . . If he knows that I am still alive, then he might think otherwise." Itachi frowns. 

"But at the same time he will know the truth. Look at me," I gently grab Itachi's face and make him look at me. "Whether he still despises you or not, you are still family. As his older brother, you are to guide him to the right path. No matter what happens, you two will still love each other despite what you have done. There is always a reason behind the most brutal of things. Do you hear me, Itachi?" 

". . .Yes." Itachi closes his eyes and gently removes my hands from his face. "I'll do it." 

"Good."
