"So, how you been? It's been 2 years since I've seen you. You've. . . Well, you're gorgeous, as always." Kakashi is so flustered that he doesn't know what to say.

"I've been doing fine. Thank you for asking, Kakashi." I can't help but giggle at his attempt to make a conversation. "I was able to find at least one Akatsuki hideout and destroyed. Unfortunately, I had a run in with 2 of them. Both of them are immortal. . . And they know about me."

"What!?" Kakashi's eyes widen.

"One of them said that their leader has mentioned me and now they have a new target. Which makes my task more difficult. You will look after Naruto while I'm gone, won't you? No that he's back in the village."

"Of course, but don't make it sound like you're planning to get yourself captured."

"If it were to come to that, to protect my own children, then I will let you know. But for now, there's nothing to worry about." I give him a peck on the nose and smile at him.

As much as I want to spend time with him, and Naruto, and to catch up on things, I have to go pay a visit to Gaara. I've been spending so much time with Naruto that I had no time to spend time with Gaara. It's been a long time since I've seen him.

"By the way, Akari, what are your plans now that you've returned to the village?"

"If possible, spend time with you and Naruto after for being gone for a long time. But, I have to go visit Gaara. I feel bad for not seeing him for all these years. By the way, don't you have training to do with your students now?"

"Yeah. I have to see how strong they've gotten. Especially Naruto."

"Good luck with that. I would love to see Naruto's new technique, but I guess that will have to wait. I have to go see Gaara."

"Can't you send one of your clones?"

"We discussed about this before, remember? Using clones is also a waste of my chakra."

"You said only when it came to fighting."

"Kakashi." My ears lay flat on my head.

"Fine. Go see Gaara. I'll tell Naruto that you're sorry you couldn't see him train, too."

"Thank you. Bye-Bye." I pull down Kakashi's mask and give him a kiss. He kisses back and I stand up from my place, then waving goodbye.

I use the Transportation Jutsu to get to the sand village, and appear inside the Kazekage's office where Gaara is. When he is aware of my presence, he turns around in his chair and smiles at me. To pay my respects to the Kage of the village, I get on one knee and bow to him as I say,

"It is an honor to see you again, Lord Kazekage."

"Stand, Akari. No need for that. We're family after all." Gaara gets out of his chair and walks over me as I stand up. "You're my mother. You don't have to be formal with me." He hugs me, wrapping his arms around my neck.

"I have to now that my own child is the Kage of the village he grew up in. Besides, I'm glad that you're people are finally looking up to you." I smile and hug him back. "How does it feel to be the leader of your village?"

"It's not that bad. Although there is a lot of work to be done. How are you, by the way? Last time I've heard of you was 2 years ago. You came into the village and told me that you'll be going away for a while. Something about a mission of yours."

"For the safety of you and Naruto. I had to look into the Akatsuki's information. So far, they have not captured any tailed beast thanks to me. All of you are safe."
