The train was almost about to leave as I ran onto the platform. I couldn't believe I'd been wandering around all night with nothing to do and I still managed to nearly miss the first train home. Out of breath and laughing to myself, I found a table seat on the nearly empty train and pulled out a book. It was three hours home and I found travelling insanely boring. Despite the lack of sleep I didn't feel at all tired. I'd probably drop off somewhere after Derby, like usual. I knew this journey like the back of my hand. But this would be the last time I'd ever take it.
