'Good, cos I want half of what you earn when you're famous.' She stuck her tongue out. The air lifted a little and I felt better, more relaxed. I had nothing to be nervous about. I was about to marry this amazing woman. A few minutes later we arrived at the little town hall.

It wasn't going to be a fancy ceremony. We were basically signing some legal papers. I'd assured her that maybe in a few years time we could go all out and have a massive party, but for now all that mattered was that we were joined in matrimony.

We entered the building, my bride to be looking beautiful in her dress, converse and bouquet in hand.
