I walked down the stairs following Colby. We saw Kat, Devyn, and everyone else but me, Colby and Sam. We headed over to them and smiled so they can tell us the suprize.
"Well what is it?" Colby asked, completely clueless.
"Well isn't it time to announce that..." Kat took a breath. I needed to know. It's too suspicious and wonderus to leave us hanging in a noose.
"There's a pool party at my friends house and she wanted to invite all of you!" She sounds so happy. Great, meeting new people. That's not my thing. The last time I was at a party I almost got destroyed.
"Ok, we'll come." We all smiled from Colby's reply. But that last party was at Brennens, not at Kat' s friends' house.
"Can't wait!" I jumped in excitement. "I hope this one is fun." Colby whispered into my ear. "I hope so too." I hugged Colby and dangled off of him. I stood back up after he began to hug me.
Then I had an idea. I stood still then walked over to Jake. I tapped his shoulder. "Your it!" I dashed towards the back, swinging the glass doors open. I heard Jake running after me, but back tracked.
"Your it!" I saw him tag Colby. Everyone then was running away from him. Colby saw me just chilling in the grass. He eyed me down then came running like a chicken with its head cut off. His arms were flailing around like a pshyco path. I squiled in laughter and ran towards the gate. I hopped the fence and ran to make it upfront.
Sadly, Colby chose to not hop the fence. I cocked my head sideways with a sad dog face. I then laughed and stuck out my tounge. I bobbed my head side ways as he slowly climbed the fence. My eyes went wide. I bolted towards the pulled in from of the bronze doors and began to climb the tiny steps or ledges.
I looked down to see he wasn't there yet. I looked up and continued to climb. This was pretty hard. My fingers bending for grip and my toes scruntching in my shoes. I took each step consciously in my mind. I looked around to see the nieghborhood. I looked up to see the beautiful sky. The sky still so very blue. I continued to take each step slowly.
I finally saw the roof. I thought to myself. "What the hell?" Well I guess turned into something I actually said. I lifted myself up on top of the piller. I took my first step into the roof. Now climbing that thing is a lot harder than it sounds.
I looked down towards the ground to see everyone outside looking for me. I cupped my hands and began to speak.
"HEY!" I shouted. All their heads spun towards me. I was so high up, I couldn't tell I their mouths dropped.
"HOW DID YOU GET UP THEIR?!" Jake shouted. I then saw Colby and Devyn run in for something.
"I CLIMBED THE PILLER!" I shouted back. I stood up and spun around briskly, smiling while gazing to the blue universe that I lived in.
Then I hear some really loud microphone or horn blasting up towards me. I looked down and saw Colby holding a megaphone. I gave a confused look.
"Wassup?" He said. I smiled then saw the giant smirk planted on his face. I then had a flashback on the kiss we had.
"Hey." I heard Devyns smooth and soft voice worm to my ears. I turned around and saw Devyn and Corey walking towards me. "Hey."
"So you actually climbed the pillar?" Corey asked, his reply was a nod.
"Do you bring them the mega phone?" I asked with a slight giggle. They both nodded yes.
"Yea, before we got up here." They both looked at each other then walked towards the edge of the roof. They looked down but then quickly turned away.
"Oh, okay." Corey pulled his eyes away from the ground. My eyes were squinting.
"Are you guys afraid of heights?" I asked with my head ever so slightly to the side.
"Yea. Corey isn't good with them at-"
"Hey!" The megaphone blasted off again. "WHAT?" I screamed.
"Come down." The mega phone amplified Colby's voice perfectly. His low, deep, cheerful (sometimes) voice. I smiled to them down below and then stuck my tongue out with squinted eyes.
I looked towards Corey and Devyn. "Let's go back down inside the house." I suggested. They nodded rapidly as if it was something that needed to be done.
I followed them down the attic like stairs. My mind was spreading all types of memories of me and Colby. It's as if I can't stop thinking about him. Oh, what would Jake say if he found out?
"Hey!" Colby swallowed me into a graceful hug with his big arms. I hugged him back. Everyone was already downstairs so it was just us.
"What would Jake say?" I whispered into his ear. He sighed, just thinking.
"Well you've known Jake. There's literally two sides of him." I nodded hearing Colby's soft voice reply.
"He can either be super happy and joyful, or he can be the devil." Colby just spoke my mind. We were still tight in our hug. I smiled and pulled away.
I smiled and pulled him close. Our lips made contact. I felt the warmth of his arms on my back.
