"Thank you for visiting Macy's today." The lady smiled and waved bye to us. My mom waved bye back then we exited the shop. I hugged my mom's arm tight. "Thanks mom." I told her. "No problem. It's beautiful and would fit you." She and I kept on walking till we left the mall.

I stepped by the passenger door, waiting for her to unlock it. Once she did I quickly opened it and stepped inside, shutting the door after my body was in.

"Well that was a great movie." She gave me a wonderful smile that she always shared. I nodded with a quick smile then looked through the window.

My thoughts changed. I was thinking about jake as we left the parking lot. I looked ours but thought about my brother. When do I get to see him? I want to see him now.

I re my eyebrows scrub as my thoughts overrode my brain. I knew I wanted to see and he wants to see me. I hope.

I love Jake. It's been 3 years since I've seen him, I know that's crazy, but my family has been everywhere and Jake can't afford every plane ticket to visit. But I'm also suprized why he chose not to at least see us once a year.

"Whatcha thinking?" My mom's head bobbed back and forth from me to the road. "Oh it's about Jake." I said hearing my sigh after. "What about?" She asked again, giving the 'tell me' voice. I still starred out the window.

"I want to see him. I want to see him, mom." I looked over to her feeling as if I'm about to get mad. I don't want to because we've had such a great time but being away from Jake this long kills me.

"I miss him too." She replied. "But you'll see him. I promise." I looked at the road then back at her. "I want to see him now mom. I can't deal with him being away from me for 3 years!" I rose my voice. Don't get mad. Don't get mad.

"Sorry. I'm telling myself not to get mad." I apologized then rested my arm on the door as I adored the city. I loved being in the city.

"It's ok. Just take a few deep breaths and you'll be fine." She calmly said as I smiled hearing her calming voice trail through my ears.

"Thanks mom." I implied then there was silence. She fixed it by throwing tunes into the car. I looked up and around to see the radio. Then I looked back outside. Tunes are the best when it comes to car rides.

I opened my eyes to find myself leaning against the car door. I lifted my head and brushed my eyes. I must have fallen asleep.

"Did you sleep well?" Mom asked without looking at me. "You can say I did. How long did I sleep for?" I rested my hands back down on my thighs. "Around 10 minutes." She chuckled. "We're actually home." She pulled up to my house from the drive way.

I smiled thinking home sweet home. Then once she shifted the gear to park i immediately jumped out of the car and ran inside. I had the house keys so we didn't leave it unlocked.

"Home!" I shouted and flopped on top of my bed. "Oh I've missed you." I told my bed as I hugged the cold Orange sheets. They felt so refreshing from a warm and hot day.

"Hey mom?" I called out then she opened my door to see me. "Yea?" She entered her full body into my room. "I'm going to take a nap here so please don't bug me." I have her a look hoping she would understand cause I remember multiple times she would pull pranks on me while I slept.

"Ok. Understood. No pranks. I'll watch TV." She left my door open making me feel so empty. I quickly stood up and grabbed the knob. "Shut my door." I sang over to the living room the closed my room door shut.

I scoffed and wobbled over to my bed. I smoothly lifted my legs and arms and spread them across the bed. I grabbed my earphones that were left on my night stand.

I plugged both in my ears and the end of the cord into my phone. I listened to soft pop music to calm my way to sleep. And it worked could my eyes fluttered shut and my mind emptied.

Then I heard a loud thud. I woke up from my beauty sleep and lifts my body in shock and fear. I took very heavy breathes as my eyes watered, for some reason.

"Hello?" I called. Then I heard screaming, but it wasn't just any scream. It was my moms. I dashed out of my room to see what's up. "What's wrong!" I yelled then stopped. I could see my mom crying, tears dripping from her eyes.

Her smile attacked me the most on her. Her smile was happy, it was joyful. Then I could see her jumping up and down. Everything went slowmo when I saw someone very familiar.

"W-What's happening?" I asked just standing still, frozen as Ice. Then I saw the eyes. The beautiful brown eyes I've always wanted to see. The face features I've wants to notice. The style I've died for. I was shocked to see this person here, but so I excited I transitioned to jumping like crazy.

"JAKE!" I shouted and jumped right on top of him. I wrapped my legs around his torso and my arms around his neck. I burried my face in my hair that frappe over my shoulders. Then I let him take a break.

"Oh my gosh. JAKE!" I hopped and had no clue what to do. I was so excited! "I missed you too Rae." He hugged me tight again. "After 3 years you finally come. I was dying without seeing you." I explained as he let me go from the hug. He nodded as he listened. "Wow. I love you too." He replied giving me a warm smile.

"I have a surprise for you, Rae." He made me feel very interested or mysterious. "What is it?" I couldn't hold the suspicion anymore.
