Magmula ng pumayag ako sa deal ni Clyde, hindi pa rin niya binibitawan ang kamay ko. Nakita kami ni yaya na magkahawak kamay. Sinabihan kong bitawan niya muna ako dahil nakakahiya kay yaya pero wala siyang pakialam at hindi pinansin ang sinabi ko.
"Yaya-"
"Ako na ang magpapatulog sa mga bata."
"Ako na lang po. Alam kong pagod na kayo-"
"Okay lang, anak. Alam kong walang balak bitawan ang kamay mo ng katabi mo."ngumiti ito sa amin.
"Clyde, bitawan mo-"
"Thank you, yaya Yolly."
Umalis ito at iniwan kami, "Bakit hindi ka pa kasi bumitaw kanina? Nakakahiya kay yaya."
"Ayoko nga at dapat masanay na si yaya na makita tayong ganito. Hindi naman magtatagal na babalik na rin tayo sa dati, Sandra."
Akala niya na hindi ko narinig ang sinabi niya, "You wish! Dapat nga bukas pa magsisimula ang deal natin, bakit ganito ang ginagawa mo, Clyde?"
"Pumayag ka na, kaya pwede ko ng gawin ito!" Pinakita niya ang kamay namin.
"You're taking advantage of this deal. Our agreement will start tomorrow but you made your move after I said yes, Mr. Villacorte."
"Being a businessman is natural to make a move that will ensure I'll win in every deals I'm dealing. You're my business and I'll make sure this agreement will favor to my side. You have to prepare your heart because I'll steal it again and never give it back, Sandra."
"Are you that confident, Mr.Villacorte? I'm also a businesswoman, if that's your perspective then go ahead and try whatever your plan is but I have my own plan to stop you."
Natigilan siya sa sinabi ko. Akala ba niya ganon na lang yon. Pumayag ako pero hindi sa lahat ng gusto niya, gagawin ko. He made a wrong move when he said his motive. Don't let others know it before you haven't get what you want from them.
"Akala ko ba babalik tayo sa dati, Sandra? Bakit biglang may ganitong competition sa pagitan natin? Hindi ito ang pinag-usapan natin."
Tumayo ako kaya napabitaw siya sa kamay ko,"Good night, Clyde!"
"Wait! Don't leave me here like this, Sandra! Let's talk. Shit! what have I done!"
Hindi ko mapigilang mapangiti sa reaksyon niya. Hindi niya inasahan na ganito ang magiging usapan namin. Hindi ako pumayag sa deal na ito para hayaan siyang gawin ang gusto niya. I just want to see how far his efforts will make me think that he still the same man. I appreciated his efforts to my children but not on me. I'm affected whenever he said something about his feelings. I'm a strong woman but my heart is not made of stone like others think about about me. I know how to handle my emotion.
I thought being harsh on him will make me happy but I'm not. I thought he deserved it but when I saw how much he wanted to know our children, it made me feel a bad person. I made him miserable and lost. He wanted to be with them just like other parent who didn't see their child for a long time.
I want to confirm something tomorrow. If he can show me that will make me take a risk to start over again then I'll let him part of my life again. Before I close my eyes, deep inside of me wish it to happen.
Nagising ako ng mga brasong nakayakap sa akin. Pagmulat ko at nakita ko si Clydia at Xavier na nakahiga sa tabi ko at nakayakap sakin.
