The lab sat empty. There sat a crying Jekyll in the living room.
" Sssshhh... Baby it's ok."
" It hurts!..."
" I know... I know..." Hyde comforted
" You know where she is right?"
Jekyll nodded " It's hard... I can barely walk into the lab without having a breakdown."
" I know... it's hard on me too. I can't even attempt to go past her room sometimes."
That night...
" Daddy, I love you."
" I love you too, my sweet Delilah."
" Daddy, I had a bad dream can I sleep with you and panter?"
" Come on."
The small child then crawled in up against Jekyll's chest and went to sleep.
" I forgive panter..." She wispered
then Jekyll woke up sweating he jumped up looking for any sign of Delilah then he realized it was a dream.
" What is it, superstud?" Hyde asked from the bed
" A dream... about Delilah." Jekyll confessed
Hyde sat up with groggy eyes.
" What happened?"
" Well she came and laid beside me and said she forgave you." Jekyll said
" We'll talk more about this in the morning now try and sleep."
They then both laid down and went to sleep
That morning Jekyll reaccounted the dream to Hyde.
" You really thing she forgave me?" Hyde asked as tears flooded his eyes
" I do..." jekyll quietly said
" I really didn't mean it. I wanted her to stay. It's no fair."
" Don't be like that..."
" How can I not be?! I saw how much alcohol has gone missing, mister!"
Jekyll sat quiet and looked down.
" I hate when we're like this..."
Hyde went silent and turned away.
