The Gas Station

The next morning...
dusk knocked on my door in her standard way
" Reeeeeeddddddd!!!!"
" I'm coming, I'm coming!" I exclaimed as I opened the door, book under my arm
" There you are, I was getting worried. I was about to knock down the door."
" Aw don't worry, love. I'm fine, you get worried for no reason."
" Whatcha got there?" She asked as she pulled the book from under my arm
" Dusk...." I complained
" Hmmmm, The Book thief huh?"
" Yes, it's a good book." I said as I smiled
She gave it back to me " Sounds interesting."
" Hurry up you guys we don't have all day!" Angelina yelled
"Come on you guys I gotta get home before dinner or Jekyll will murder me!" Hyde commented as well.
I sighed " I hope you know I'm not murdering anyone."
" Really? You're going to miss out on the fun?" Dusk asked in a surprised tone.
" Murder isn't fun, Dusk. You're starting to sound like Hyde." I said as I cradled the book to my chest
" I heard that!" Exclaimed Hyde
I sighed and rolled my eyes before walking to the car beside Dusk. She got in the back considering Hyde and Angelina were in the front and I got in beside her.
" What took you guys so long?" Hyde asked
" It wasn't that long." I protested
" Yeah Hyde only about ten minutes." Dusk said backing me up
Angelina laughed " At least we still have time to go to the gas station."
I turned red and hide myself behind my book.
We soon stopped at the gas station.
" Need Anything, Red?" Dusk asked as she got out
Angelina did the same to Hyde.
" No, maybe a coke or like a bag of chips if you don't mind." I said as I got out my wallet
" No no, Red, I'll pay."
" Well...Thanks."
" You're welcome." Dusk said before winking and going inside
" Sooooo..... what did take you so long this morning?" Hyde asked as he turned around in his seat and looked at me
" Nothing, Hyde.... just talking about my book."
" Oh..."
then Dusk and Angelina both came out laughing, Angelina had a 12 box of donuts while dusk had a bag in which I could see a coke and a bag of lays classic potato chips inside. I smiled. Dusk got inside
" I didn't know what kind of chips to get you. I hope classic chips are fine."
" It's great, thank you. Are you sure you don't want me to pay?"
" I'm sure, Red." She replied
She then gave me the chips and coke. Angelina was now in the car, passing out donuts.
" Want one, Red?" She asked
" No, I'm fine."
" Ok, suit yourself." She said
Then we were back on the road. It was crazy where we were going
