Hyde woke up in a sweat.
" You Alright, Love?" Jekyll asked concerned as he looked away from the book he was reading
" I- I'm fine." Hyde stuttered out
" Please don't lie." Jekyll begged
" I'm seriously fine, baby."
" You know you talked in your sleep last night."
" I did!" Hyde exclaimed as he blushed, instantly regretting the fact that he said that because you could obviously tell in his voice that he was nervous.
" What did I say?" Hyde asked quietly
" Don't worry about it, the real question is what did you dream?" Jekyll replied
" Uh.... um.... nothing, just a nightmare." Hyde said calmly
"You sure?"
" Yeah, I'm sure."
Jekyll laughed
" What's so funny?" Hyde asked
" It wasn't about spiders, was it?" Jekyll asked
" Leave me alone." Hyde smiled
"So it was?" Jekyll asked
" No, a much worse fear of mine." Hyde admitted
"Tell me what it is." Jekyll said
Hyde sighed " I dreamt that you... you turned heterosexual again and divorced me and the woman that you dated hurt you."
"That's nonsense!" Jekyll exclaimed
Hyde raised his eyebrow at him in disbelief " You've got close before." He mumbled
" Edward Hyde!" Jekyll exclaimed
"WELL IT IS TRUE ISN'T IT?" Hyde yelled in his much darker tone.
" I LOVE YOU! DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND!" Jekyll screamed in the exact same tone
" I'm sorry, love. Please don't hurt me." Jekyll said in his normal voice in a cowering tone
Hyde's eyes turned back to their emerald green shade and he whispered " No, I'm sorry, love."
They hugged quietly and just sat there
