Hyde sat in the hospital room. Jekyll was asleep, but he stayed... he'd always be there. FFPD came on, it was his favorite song by them too, also known as Jekyll and Hyde. It's crazy how perfect it seemed the song was... hyde thought that's what Jekyll thought of him.
" Eddie, baby..." interrupted his thoughts
" Yeah." he replied taking out his earbuds and reaching for his husbands hand
" Eddie, you need to go home, get some rest. I know you never sleep when your here, you get so worried about me... go home, honey I can't bare to see you like this..." Jekyll pleaded with him
" What if something happens while I'm gone..." Hyde said as thoughts raced though his mind.
" I'll be fine I promise." Jekyll said as he squeezed Hyde's hand reassuringly
" Ok... I love you, Henry. I'll be back tomorrow I promise."
" Good. Love you too now come here give me a kiss..."
Hyde smiled before giving Henry a kiss " Love you."
" Love you too... I'll be fine."
A whole day without Henry Jekyll impossible! His dear Henry insisted it though so he walked out the door. When he got home he went straight to the bedroom and turned his phone all the way up. He had Jekyll's doctor's number saved in his phone just in case. He then went to sleep. When he awoke he saw many missed calls, from Jekyll's doctor. He called him back as he headed out the door
" What's going on with Henry?!" He asked frantically as he now was in his car pulling out of the driveway
" He went into cardiac arrest..."
" f***ing hell!" Hyde exclaimed accidentally
" I'm on my way right now!" He told the doctor then he hung up. His hands were shaking and traffic was horrible. Out of all days for traffic to be horrible it had to be today. They were probably all going to The Sherlock Holmes museum a few towns away. He cussed at all the cars until finally he got to the hospital. The doctor met him in the hall as he nervously paced.
" Henry should be fine."
" Should be?!"
" It's a 77% success rate, Mr. Hyde."
" That leaves a 23% gap!!" Hyde exclaimed
Hyde started nervously laughing and felt like he was going to have a panic attack.
" My Baby has to be ok." He told the doctor
" We will try our hardest, sir." The doctor replied
What if trying hard wasn't good enough he thought.
