The invite

Pole sent me a text ' Come over you need to make up with Mr. Hyde. The yelling got louder last night I was afraid'
' I can't see the doctor.' I texted back
' why?'
' Fine I'll do it. What time?'
'3 will be fine'
'Ok'
Then I sat there afraid of what would happen there.
3...
I walked up to the door of Dr. Jekyll and Hyde's household. I knocked and Pole answered
"Why Red, nice to see you. Master Hyde and the doctor are waiting for you."
I walked in " Thank you, Pole."
" My pleasure, Miss Red. I believe they are upstairs in the living area."
I nodded and walked up the stairs before knocking on the door. Hyde answered
" Oh I um... I'm so sorry, Hyde." I said
" You're Fine, Red I'm sorry I know how much this place means to you."
I nodded " Well um if that's all I guess I'll leave." I then turned around but he put his hand on my shoulder
" Trying to leave so soon? Come in, you have nothing to hyde, do you Red?"
" No, I um isn't the doctor busy?"
" No, he's actually relaxing after his work from this morning his next appointment isn't until four thirty."
" Well I hate to interrupt his relaxation." I said
" Come In, Red, seriously. We aren't some crazy lunatics... well at least he's not."
I felt so awful talking to Hyde like that knowing what I have hidden.
" Hyde, I don't feel so well..." I said as I stumbled backward he caught me but then I passed out.
When I woke up Dr. Jekyll was staring into my eyes. Looking over me.
" Okay, well um I best get going... I need to go." I said
Dr. Jekyll touched my shoulder " No no you need to stay. You're unwell."
I looked into his eyes and mouthed out ' I can't do this'
He shook his head over and over again
" Hyde, can you come here I- I need to tell you something." I said
" Coming!" I heard him yell
He then came into the room " What is it, Red?"
Tears formed in my eyes because I knew what would come from this " Dr. Jekyll he- he- Kissed me."
" Red, leave I don't want you to see this, please." Hyde begged
I looked in Jekyll's eyes it seemed as if he was looking right at death, he probably was.
I got in front of Dr. Jekyll.
" What are you doing, Red? Let me take it I deserve it."
" I can't, Dr. Jekyll." I replied
" Please Red, move. I can't control myself." Hyde begged
" Red, Go." Dr. Jekyll said
I cried as I ran towards the door as I went out I heard the scared and hurt screams of the doctor. Then it was over, silence. I walked back in and up the stairs Pole was frozen and I walked past him. blood was all over the walls and Hyde sat in one corner of the room shaking and weeping with blood all over him and in his hands was a knife. I looked over at the Doctor who was bloody his breathing was low and slow. I ran over to him " Dr. Jekyll, can you hear me?"
No response
" Dr. Jekyll? Dr. Jekyll please! You're like a father to me! Don't leave."
He coughed and blood came up out all over his shirt
" Red?" He asked weakly
" Yes, What is it?" I asked
Then doctors and burst in and he was put on a stretcher. Then he was taken to the hospital. I sat with Pole once he left, sobbing.
" This is all my fault." I cried
" Sssh ssh Miss Red you were just expressing the truth. If the doctor is still mad after all this he obviously can't see that you're a good person."
" Thanks Pole." I sniffled
" You're welcome." He smiled then he pulled out a handkerchief and handed it to me.
" Pole can I ask you a question?"
" Yes. What is it?"
" Why don't you just leave this place and have a family?"
"Hmmm, the Doctor has always had my back so it's my duty to have his, besides women are overrated."
" Haha. Yes yes, we are." I laughed
" See I can make anyone laugh, keep the handkerchief, I'm afraid I must be getting back to work, although the doctor is hospitalized there's still a lot of things to do. I hope you day goes well, Miss Red."
" Thank you, Pole."
" My pleasure, Miss Red."
